"Greece's debt levels prior to EU membership were around 20% of GDP and look what they are now. "
(Leonidas, 6 October 2010 16:56)

And you really blame the EU for that, and not the incompetent, corrupt and patronage-based greek politicians who liked to spend
a lot of the state budget for privileges of 'their' group of voters? Interesting.

The EU didnt give greece anything, they loaned them more money so they can pay goldman sachs. All the greek people got was more debt.

Indeed Jovan.EU membership failed to do anything for the average Greek except enrich the few beyond avarice, whilst passing the bill to present and future generations.Greece's debt levels prior to EU membership were around 20% of GDP and look what they are now.

All those EU globalists are
cheating thieves on an historic scale, the super corrupt who start wars to boost profits and to make existential points about the nature of human rights and democracy - democracy, the thing EU bureaucrats hate the absolute most.

A free fair referendum will prove that and their southern orthodox brothers will also wake up to the fact eventually

Iam afraid there won't be any referendum as far as Serbia's application to join the EU is concerned. This of course is the parody of democracy but the EU bureaucrats believe they know best not the people.

Now the Greek prime minister doesn't get it yet.
The eurozone has become a trap for Greece and other countries on the periphery. They are crushed by debt, unable to compete against the core, saddled with austerity and facing long-term stagnation if not default.

Unless there is a fundamental re-thinking of the whole concept of European
integration iam pretty convinced it will end in tears and maybe more.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - Debt = Slavery.

Why are there so many prostests in Europe at the moment? People realise they've been duped and will now have to work hard for peanuts to survive. We use the nice sounding work "austerity" instead of the real word "slavery". They are in fact anti-slavery protests.

The EU is not going to give Greece the boot, it needs as many slaves as possible to compete with China. It's all about the economy and productivity, the fat cats in the west cannot compete with the east.

Serbia's future is trully with the EU. But the EU would give Greece 110 billion Euros if it was to exclude her from the EU?? I don't think so. And you don't think so. You just wish so...

Serbias future, no matter what sorosian dreamers fantisize about, is whith the free world outside the western warmongering bloc, to the east.

A free fair referendum will prove that and their southern orthodox brothers will also wake up to the fact eventually
