State of emergency in western Hungary

A state of emergency has been declared in three regions in the west of Hungary after toxic sludge from an aluminum smelting plant flooded the area.

Criminal irresponsibility! If that is an industry that met EU standards, the EU should be ashamed of such irresponsible regulation.

Only an irresponsible warmongering group like NATO could do more ecological damage.

I hope the Hungarian Government, it's neighbors, and EU States can join together to mitigate this travesty. My condolences to the people of Hungary and especially the families that lost, and will loose, relatives in this criminal disaster.
