Third rate actors. What exactly has Eliza done? Her show was cancelled after a few episodes and she has done nothing since.
I wouldn't call Jim a heavyweight in entertainment either.
I won't go into the contributions the Serbs have made. I think by now everyone knows who they were and what they contributed. Anything said by me here would be bragging.

he right of people of Kosova"

Mirel,

I think scumbagging Slovakia is a bit harsh. On the other hand their reaction is understandable. They are a leftover formation from the former artificial creation called "Czechoslovakia" and they are occupying ancient Hungarian soil in the last 90 years. They have all the reason to clench their fists and refuse anything based on ethnic basis in fear the expreiment fails and the people want to reunite to the motherland, Hungary.

What would you expect from a country where there is a law stipulating that in the Hungarian language schoolbooks used in Hungarian inhabited areas, the true, ancient names of the rivers and cities must be written only second, after the newly designed Slovak names in brackets. Yes, no joke, it is happening in EU in the XXI. century.

Czechoslovakia was torn apart by Nazi Germany in front of the world in 1938 just like Jugoslavija was torn apart in 1992.

“I can think of much worse scumbag countries which control Europe's narcotic, weapons and human trafficking through exceptionately large and well organized mafias and who think they can use NATO's military might to steal more sovereign land from others countries, that are considerably worse than Slovakia, don't you think?”

There is much contradiction in this comment. For your information the NATO forces can not be used as easy as you think. They are much more clever than any narcotic, mafia or whatever you mention. I doubt very much that your description about so called “scumbag countries that control Europe is correct”. This kind of language I have seen from your side probably since the first day I saw your name here.

“BTW Are you one of those pro-EU types and pro-NATO types? Well then, you should be nice to this "scumbag" country, since their vote counted for Albania's entry to NATO and will when EU entry will become reality.”

To generalize the opinion of one person on behalf of one country, that is for sure not the proper logic. Actually in my opinion I will never be thankful to Slovakia for “accepting” Albania in NATO. The process was initiated and finished by USA and main European players. Slovakia was a number probably just as Albania is today.

“Also, their economy is MILES ahead of Albania or its stillborn half-baked child Kosovo. This is why they are in the EU and you are not. ;)””

You made me laugh the same as the movie EUROTRIP. I was some weeks ago in Bratislava to travel then to Wien. I don’t think that their economy made them eligible for EU rather than political issues.

Anyway that is not the point. If Slovakia don’t want to recognize Kosovo so be it. Who has eyes knows very well the reason as clearly given in a comment below.

Mirel from Albania

pre 13 godina

The reason that I talked about Slovakia in that way, was that they are talking every week bad about my people.Don't want to recognise Kosova.OK!Don't recognise,I don't care.
But talking every day about it,talking more than serbs about Kosova, badmouthing my Kosovar Albanian brothers every day,it becomes personal after a while.
I have mention before, that I more respect for Serbia,Spain,Russia even though they are the most hostile countries agaist albanians, than a country like Slovakia, who uses albanians to be in the news. And I can say this sentence today again.
I am an orthodox albanian and we are very proud people. We have given the most contribution in Albanian Renaissance,Albanian Indepenence,Albanian Libration War,Fall of Cumunnism in Albamia and support our brothers in Kosova. Our sons and daughters are very successful in Germmany,France,UK and USA.Remember Belushi brothers and Eliza Dushku. Both are from my hometown and are very proud albanian and they have visited Koaova. So as the one whose ancenstors have fought turks, greeks for Albanian independence and communists,I can not stay quiet and take lectures from a country like Slovakia, just because they want to use albanians to stay in the news.
BTW we don't need their vote for NATO membership,we already are in NATO.

it´s interesting that our dear k-albanian friends are not getting the message here...

of course, only a few weeks ago we could read something quite similar here... but that is not the point!

the really interesting thing about this is, that although the US and other european EU-members are pressing the five EU-member states which have not "recognized", they are standing strong! and that´s why this is worth to be published actually.

the message is: even strong pressure is not going to help you, my dear US-american "independence"-supporters!
rather bad news for our dear k-albanian friends though, but they do not get it, or they are deliberately ignoring it - what shows their despair, actually.

anyway, since I do believe that most of our dear k-albanian friends in here are kiddies anyway, I do not expect that level of depth from them, when it is about thinking over the news about our southern serbian province...

the best thing is: there is nothing as strong as the law!

years can go by, but the law will be there, and believe me, kids, there will be some bad surprisings for you in the future!
it´s just a question of time, that´s for sure.

it´s interesting that our dear k-albanian friends are not getting the message here...

of course, only a few weeks ago we could read something quite similar here... but that is not the point!

the really interesting thing about this is, that although the US and other european EU-members are pressing the five EU-member states which have not "recognized", they are standing strong! and that´s why this is worth to be published actually.

the message is: even strong pressure is not going to help you, my dear US-american "independence"-supporters!
rather bad news for our dear k-albanian friends though, but they do not get it, or they are deliberately ignoring it - what shows their despair, actually.

anyway, since I do believe that most of our dear k-albanian friends in here are kiddies anyway, I do not expect that level of depth from them, when it is about thinking over the news about our southern serbian province...

the best thing is: there is nothing as strong as the law!

years can go by, but the law will be there, and believe me, kids, there will be some bad surprisings for you in the future!
it´s just a question of time, that´s for sure.

To Mirel from Albania:

I thank you for the way you praise my country and always felt content that Canada is still supposed to recognize Kosovo's desired status. Also it could please you to note that Fredericton or the nearby town of Oromocto or another town called Gagetown was said to shelter Kosovar refugees who arrived to the province of New Brunswick to escape the Kosovar conflict of the 1990s.

A) Surprised Mirel's comment was allowed --- don't get me wrong, part of me full agrees :)

B) Slovakia, thank you for not recognizing. Kosovars would appreciate it if you would tone it down with all these press conferences all about Kosovo. Do you have nothing to do than troll the news every other week? We get it, you're just defending "international law" and it's not about anything to do with Ján Slota (SNS party) who publicly comes out and spews racial slurs at the Hungarian minority.

C) I have a feeling in the not-so distant future you'll be changing your mind.

Thanks

I'm confused as to why you belittle Canada by remarking that it should be the last country to recognize Kosovo.

Mirel you are a bitter human being. Just because someone does not agree with your cause, you have such vitriol towards them. Learn to live with democracy, if that is what you want for Kosovo and Albania. Freedom of speech, and opinions, is the cornerstone of democracy. You should accept, and revel in it, and not spewing so much hatred at democratic principles. Would you throw stones at the Slovaks, if you could? Honestly!

Since when is NOT recognising "Kosova" a breach of international law?

Mirel, if you really thought that Slovakia's recognition is not important you would not be so angry. I can see you were frothing at the mouth while writing that angry post.

Canada should be the last country to ever think of recognizing Kosovo. They have a similiar situation just West of where you are, and a little east of where I am. Go figure this one out...

Apparently the Serbian politicians need that continual reassurance, kind of like they are hearing it but they really do not believe it.

Czechoslovakia was torn apart by Nazi Germany in front of the world in 1938 just like Jugoslavija was torn apart in 1992.

The Slovakians have not forgotten, unfortunately the Czech government has gone against the will of it's people to recognize "Kosovo" as has Bulgaria and Poland.

Dear Mirel,

maybe you should avoid having mirrors in your proximity when you write on this forum! Sorry, but I cannot find any other reason for your intensive usage of words like "scumbag" :)

Regards from a citizen of a "scumbag country", Romania.

well my dear GjonFusha, if you don´t care, why are you responding then? =)

but, I think I know why: it´s your frustration about the clear message of the slovak official.

you don´t have to be a rocket-scientist to see what makes you frustrated and react the way you did.

Meril from Albania

I can think of much worse scumbag countries which control Europe's narcotic, weapons and human trafficking through exceptionately large and well organized mafias and who think they can use NATO's military might to steal more sovereign land from others countries, that are considerably worse than Slovakia, don't you think?

BTW Are you one of those pro-EU types and pro-NATO types? Well then, you should be nice to this "scumbag" country, since their vote counted for Albania's entry to NATO and will when EU entry will become reality.

Also, their economy is MILES ahead of Albania or its stillborn half-baked child Kosovo. This is why they are in the EU and you are not. ;)

Even that does not need a rocket-scientist to understand my frustration, as you said, you did not get it. It was not what slovak minister has to say but it was you talking as a racist against albanians. Remember?

"I am surprised that a scumbag country like Slovakia, doesn't recognise t
he right of people of Kosova"

Yes, no joke, it is happening in EU in the XXI. century.
