"In a series of programs broadcast on several Russian TV channels over the past few months, Lukashenko has been accused of being directly responsible for the kidnapping and murder of political opponents"

Oops, there goes my coffee all over the carpet. Which government again accused the Belarus leader for kidnapping and murder of political opponents? Hypocrisy eat your heart out.

For me it is rather just another display for Slavic stubbornness and loose organization than anything to do with Russians or Bijelorussians.

And when slavs are weak and unorganized, who exploits this by 10000000% by creating mega-productions about the supposedly bad this or bad that?

Yup!! you guessed right!

In this way, the least expansionist countries can be portrayed as the worst war-mongers on earth.

Hi gys ! I guess some of you are aware that Belorussians are just a sort of Russians. Only some 10% here can talk the Polish mixed slang called Bellarussian. Besides throuot senturies there has been not a single episode which could shadow our brotherhood. We are just one nation and even Luka has several times claimed this.

So we can talk only about the elites which really dislike each other. Luka is a despotic dictator whose place is in the historical museum. And he has never been anybody's puppet !

Belorussia is our own backyard and we are not going to take into consideration any point of view other than the Russians inhabiting this Russian lands. And I personally can see no reasons for the existance of the two Russian states.

In some degree the Ukraine is different but not Belorussia. The people are just a part of our 35 million abroad diaspora. So no of the above critics sounds persuading. Invent another fairy tale.

Cheers Serbia !

I've been following Lukash, Belarus & its relations with Russia since independence and all signs point to this being another orchestrated spat to help get more pro-RUS nations into the EU by fooling the dying but still powerful pro-Western bureaucrats in Brussels

This is what happens when somebody stops licking Russian booths and nobody can claim that Lukashenko is a Western puppet. He is simply "inconveniant" for Moscow. Kiew is a little bit cleverer in that way, since they understood not to recognize the Russian puppet states in Caucasus, even though Minsk is similar in that point.

Serbia that is the way Russia treats its "friends". Like the old Warsaw joke how do the Russians travel to visit their friends ....in tanks.
