"As an Albanian I just had a deja-vu moment. Why does this sound strangely familiar to me Mike? Any idea?" (johny)

Well as far as 'my beloved bosnia' is concerned you either love it all or its a false love.

Bosnian politics is largely a product of Bosnian society... Draw your own conclusions.

Of course this explains your personal obsession with citing China and India. Yes the linguistic , religious and cultural links are obvious.

roberto, Siladzic is just as much of a demagogue as Dodik, but has less than half the political acumen and twice the bluster. You know this, but you conveniently overlook it. With the way in which Bosnia is structured, there's very little Federacija can do to influence the happenings in RS, and vice versa. If it's Dodik you're so convinced is leading a state that ideally exists in your mind only, you fail to realize it's Siladzic that's calling for forced unity. Dodik cares only for RS and he's not going to make good on his promises of secession if Serbia will not support it. The way I see it, Siladzic and the other corrupt leaders of Federacija love to play the RS card in order to cover their own political failures. And being more and more vocal about imposed centralization via channels they don't have and the international community won't give them, will only push RS further away. And might I add push the Croats to form an entity of their own. Federacija itself is so internally divided, anyone who even thinks of trying to control RS clearly has spent far too much time away from the action.

Think of it like this: Siladzic is to Bosnia what Milosevic was to Serbia. I know you'll disagree, but overwhelming opinion in RS is in favor of, at best, increased federalization, NOT centralization. The institutional settings in Federacija notwithstanding, how you plan on integrating the rest of Bosnia as a whole is something you constantly fail to address.

Hallelujah, brother, and amen! Haris is your brother, Roberto? So you are a Bosnian muslim, I always wondered what your deal was. Why you so jumped up and down with anything pro BiH muslim, but hated anything Serb or Croat Bosnian. OK, with the cat out of the bag, all your previous posts are now null and void. You are a Bosnian muslim. And you hide under this San Francisco mask, so typical. Please go post on some pro-muslim site from now on, your posts here are prejudice and of no relativity.

@ truthiness: we failed to protect our people with defensive wars in the 90s and when SFRJ's orchestrated unconstitutional breakup deliberately split us when RUS was weak - and yeah: small nations need big powers, sorry you dont understand politics and at least we Serbs chose our allies according to the same religion language & culture, making us among the least opportunistic of all nations

--Current member of Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Haris Silajdžić thinks that, as he said, Belgrade’s “double-dealing has led to all this”.

“One cannot come (to Bosnia-Herzegovina) and give support to those who are loudly and clearly determined to breakdown Bosnia-Herzegovina and at the same time speak about respect of integrity, sovereignty of Bosnia-Herzegovina, either one or the other,” he stressed.

“For those who want really good relations, this door is open, they don’t have to knock, but double-dealing attitude toward Bosnia-Herzegovina won’t fly. Nobody is in an easy position here, we’re all in difficult position, we should work together, but to say one thing and do the other, that cannot happen. So, it is up to them. We are open for good relations,” Silajdžić concluded.--

Hallelujah, brother, and amen!
Somebody needed to say it publicly, and silajdzic said it quite precisely.

i would add that this blgd regime is composed of lying hypocrites, who say ANYthing they think the world wants to hear, while they exactly continue their milosevic policies, minus the multiple wars. at least for the time being.

the whole thing w/ the multiple public support of do-dik is so ugly, esp.ly since that mega-demagogue has had the election sewn up from the start. "democracy" ala RS. as the intl comm, so called, sits deaf, blind, and DUMB. he needed not one iota of support fr the blgd regime. so what does that mean? that they go out of their way to thumb their nose(s) at intl law, and say, ha ha, we can do whatever we want w/ our neighbors, and you can't touch us...

milosevic, early 90s. think about it. danger, will robinson...

my beloved bosnia, in the hands of such...snakes.

Nobody cares what you have to say and thanx to RUS we will use diplomacy to get what we couldn't with war. Face it
(highduke, 3 October 2010 17:11)
Ok , so as we can understand this - your piont(s): 1) that you regard Serbian politicians and diplomats to be so inept , that you require another nation to hold your hand when it comes to international diplomacy.
2) that you admit here , that sebians wanted to start a war with their respective neighbours to achieve their intended goals
and
3) that they failed in all their endevours.

Out of curiosity, are you an Albanian trying to give Serbians a bad name , or a misguided Serbian who is giving Serbs a bad name. Either way you are doing a brilliant job. Please sir , think before you post. To paraphrase Ghandi- "be the change you want to see in the world" .

Haris you have been dealing with the West and the international community for quite some time so you should be used to double standars. Serbs should take care of their own interests. Did muslims in Bosnia care what Serbs thought about Bosnias independece declaration? No! So fellow Serbs! Do what's in your best interest and forget about the rest.
