Govt. called upon to ensure safety of Pride Parade

The Civil Rights Defenders (CRD) director said in a letter to Serbian PM and IM he hoped promises would be kept regarding safety at the forthcoming gay parade.

If people with to express themselves this way then what's the harm?
Let the parade go ahead and I sincerely hope that nobody tries to ruin it.

I agree that Serbia should not be adhering to any EU laws until they are actually in the EU but Serbia should update their laws to reflect today's society. If this coincides with EU laws then that's fine.

We once again stress that it is the state’s full obligation to ensure full respect of Article 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights which guarantees freedom of peaceful assembly,” it is emphasized in the announcement - Hardh
But I thought Serbia wasn't in the Union yet, why do we have to respect their articles? Hypocrits. Anyway, the best thing for Belgrade citizens to do, if they are against this parade, is to ignore it, and stay away. Let the parade happen, and that will be the end of that.

They enjoys human rights like the rest of us. They don´t have to march trough the streets to get something they already have like any citizen! They can march trough their own bedrooms for all i care and do whatever bedroom activity the want to do there, not in front of my children!
