Thanks - there are numerous possibilities for Wiki entries - the one I came across didn't mention Pavle's enthronement. The only recent date was for some restoration work done in 2006. I was curious because of all the work that was done to prepare for this event, as though the place hadn't been used for any important ceremonies for long time.

I think so, too. Why should they? That's why I was wondering why some Kosovo officials wanted to attend the ennthronement.
And that's why I was wondering that some hypocrites came up with the funny story about the "Kosovarian monestaries"
(Top, 3 October 2010 13:45)

Why is that so funny to you. These monasteries are "an inallienable" part of Kosova. No one is claiming that Albanians built them but they will always remain part of the new country as ancient relic of the history of Kosova. Aghia Sophia is othodox too yet again is one of the most distinguishable land marks of Turkey. Greek partriarch also has its seat in Instambul.

You probably never been inside the Patriarch, and I have been there several times when UNMIK was governing Kosova/o. You never leave the place without having a shot of home made rakija. I must say that is one of the finest.
(Kosova-USA, 3 October 2010 11:29)

Hahahaha.... who told you this? The same guy that told you of the Kosovo polar bear?
(Jason, 3 October 2010 12:53)

Nobody has to tell me anything, since I go places and see facts for what they are and don't beleive in myths and witchacraft like some that I know on this site.

Clive,
calm down. Kosovars really don't care about this enthronement.
To all you Orthodox-Christians, happy enthronement.

Albanians will find anything and everything to justify what they have done in Kosovo but people like this Kosova-USA reveal just what's it all about.

I am a devoted catholic and nevere herd that Pope got enthroned twice. So there you have it, along with others on this site. I am still waiting for the third enthronment of this man.
(Kosova-USA, 3 October 2010 02:02)

Sounds to me like you need to mind your own business then, buddy. If Serbs were Catholic then maybe you would have a point - but as usual, you do not.

You and others like you do nothing good for Albanian side of the Province. Maybe you just like to fuel the fires with your vitriol from a very, very safe distance?
(Clive-UK, 2 October 2010 21:12)
=======================

Clive, you are so very correct. I hope all can see now what sort of conditions Serbs had to and have to endure in Kosovo. I am sure that Kosova'USA is not in the minority. It's quite evident here at least how much hatred Albanians have towards Serbs and how happy they are to mock Serbs (but only from a safe distance or when they outnumber them drastically).

To say that this is a fake ceremony and there will be plenty of rakija there implies a drunken orgy (likened to a satanic ritual) is not only a sign of stupidity but great hatred.

can assure you that no K-Albanian cares about this phony enthronment. There is no security issue what so ever. I hope everybody enjoys a lot of home made rakija at Peja Patriarch. Can I get an invitation when the third enthronment take place?

Kosovo-USA I hope everyone else finds your comments as offensive as I, a non Serbian Orthodox Christian does. Your bigotry seems endless – this is an important occasion for the Serbs not just of Kosovo but also Serbia. You and others like you do nothing good for Albanian side of the Province. (Clive-UK, 2 October 2010 21:12)

I think its something of an inferiority complex, low self esteem, or lack of anything else going on in his life that drives one like him to constantly write rubbish in hopes of some response. Sad.

Amer,

According to the Wiki article, the predecessor to this patriarch, Patriarch Pavle, was enthroned in the "Patriarchate of Peć monastery, the ancient seat of the Serbian Church, on 22 May 1994."

Seems as there will be some heavy protection for the enthronement, 900-strong KP officers will secure their presence according to Koha Ditore.
