Elections in Kosovo in February?

Kosovo Central Election Commission (CEC) is ready to organize elections which could be held in early February 2011, according to media in Priština.

I agree with you 100% Winston. Pristina is stalling; any sign of instability means more international money flowing into Kosovo for the rich elite that run the place. Oh yeah, the elections will also mean that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina will be delayed. The Kosovo leadership could not figure out the laws that they created in regards to party leadership and holding the office of President? Give me a break.

Kosovo definitely can't claim to respect the rule of law when it can't follow the law which requires te government to hold elections within 45 days. If the government can't lead by example, it can't hold it's citizens to the same standards.

Good idea, let's have elections in Kosovo, that will certainly put an end to the chaos in Pristina, and bring long-needed closure to so many open issues. Let's waste a ton of money, voting for local Albanian politicians that have no real power, only to act as how the West dictates. I smell a stalling tactic here. Anyway, I would vote for Krasniqi, not any particular one, just any Krasniqi. There are plenty of them.
