Pakistan (and Russia) should make the blockage permanent -- and see the Yankees get stranded, trapped and wither away inside Afghanistan. Might be doing them a favor actually in not prolonging their suspense of eventual defeat!

I have an idea for the US - how about withdrawing all your troops from the Middle East, get out of Saudi Arabia where you are protecting Saudi oil, some of the very same people that fund terrorism around the globe against the West. Stop meddling in the internal affairs of foreign governments, that would a tough one for DC, stop nation-building, through the funding and military support of separatist movements, and maybe, just maybe, the entire world will not see you as an enemy, and you will have no need to fight a war on terror. Thousands of innocent lives would be saved, but then again, the US military industrial complex would have to suffer. That would be a tough choice for America. Just an idea.
