well, there are still too many Albanians in here, who are rather calling themselves " proud Albanian" instead of being a "smart Albanian" in reality.

that´s only one of the reasons, why Serbia will prevail.

So I am guessing that Russia will also be involved because the citizens of Serbia surely will want Russia's input as well.
This is not EU only involvement as EU wanted to be presented at the UN.

Peggy,

Both you and Mike seem to easily forget that Russia recently washed their hands of Serbia. Even the Russians can't stomach the hypocrisy expected from them by their little sister. It is naive to think that Russia will want any part of the talks between Kosova, U.S.A. and the EU with Belgrade. Only Belgrade is calling the talks "negotiations" but, it won't do them any good.

When an ambassador has to beg for us participation is the first indication of the waning power of the us. k-albanians are doomed.

--Dell stated he and the country he comes from understood the desire of Kosovo citizens to have the U.S. take part in the talks. He hopes the dialogue is going to be organized in such a way as to enable the U.S. presence. --

Thank you ambassador dell. the blgd regime and their supporters can't wait to have us out of the equation, esp. since we have been the strongest and most consistent supporter of independence and democracy in kosova. who managed to stop serbia's genocidal massacre in 99 (albeit only after 10 - 12 thousand people had been butchered) -- isn't that just too bad...

but unfortunately for them, we're in it for the long haul.

we said this from the beginning, and have proven true. it is a strong and reliable relationship, and if the blgd regime doesn't like it, they can't lump it.

ciao!

Top, who do you think propped up these clan members in Pristina into positions of authority in Pristina - the US. In the late '90's, the KLA was on the US State Dept's terrorist list - and when the Americans needed them to fight their ground war for them in KiM, surprise, they are no longer terrorists, but freedom fighters, and supported by the CIA, etc. An independent Albanian Kosovo is solely made possible by DC. The US authorities should be sharing jail cells with Ramush in the Hague. That is war criminals belong.

Is there anything that the ordinary Serb doesn't turn into a conspiracy theory?

Kosova was not that important for NATO. It isn't because of Kosova that the eastern block joined NATO. It is because Russia made damn sure for 50 years that whenever we got rid of her we would make sure to never associate with them. Poverty, mass murder, political imprisonment. You name it we had it. This is what Russia brought to us. Being is a far away as possible form that is only logical. Especially considering how much better the West was doing in terms of economy and human rights.

Strange for an ambassador to visit a political party whose leader is an alleged war criminal.

What's this

I don't know. The man is not the party and the party is not the man. The world didn't stop dealing with Democrats after Clinton was impeached. Though it does seem a better venue could have been found.

Rick, the US wanted to have a geopolitical presence in the Balkans for several reasons. They found the Kosovo Albanians to be more than willing helpers. As we know, Albanians have a history of joining, converting religions, pandering, and what not - Ottomans, Nazis, America, just to name a few. DC wanted to have a presence in the Balkans to protect possible pipelines (Bondsteel), to do their dirty work in getting rid of Milosevic, although no loss there, and further expand the NATO, America's new military arm. The USA could give a rat's butt about the people in Kosovo, be it Serbs or Albanians. They only care about their power there. This was also done while Russia was weak - look how quickly former Eastern Block countries became members of the NATO and even EU members. You would have to be an idiot not to see what America did, and continues doing.

-- Now, that just going to create the mess we had prior to 2008. If Pristina gets Washington, Belgrade gets Moscow and we're back to the Troika. No, best to either put it within the EU where both Washington and Moscow are shut out, or the UN where Washington and Moscow are two of many players.

You know, this would be comical if it wasn't so sad. When is the world going to see that Kosovo is "fake" in all respects- in their "democratic" leaders; in who REALLY runs the province; in "fake names" such as the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo; and the list goes on...wake up world...Kosovo is simply "smoke and mirrors", with a lot of anger and violence mixed in. The Western countries who support this "fake state" should be ashamed of themselves.
