EU and dialogue on Kosovo top agenda

Wow- this unbelievable how much this administration is willing to give away continue to be slapped! While Croatian war criminals are defended by Hague prosecutors and exiled over 300k Serb nationals- they are rewarded with EU membership- while these guys lose a chunk of land, slapped and slapped and slapped and - keep showing nothing in return. Way to go Tadic! What a champ- NOT.

Let's see if Brussels manages to torpedo the whole deal before October. Plenty of people are already trying and it will be interesting to see how the big bosses will reeling them back and make them toe the line. Or not!

It is certainly sad to watch those who would dismember Serbia spread lies. The fact is a simple one: Serbia will enter the EU without Kosova or will not enter with Kosovo. Framing the situation otherwise leads Serbs to believe the governments lies because they think NATO/EU membership will lead to prosperity. It won't, of course, at least not for many years. The governing parties have always realized this truth. It is time for Serbs to awaken and see their leaders for the liars they are.

It's important to keep an eye on what matters here. And the only thing that really matters is EU membership.

Without, that Serbia has no hope of managing the endless list of border disputes (e.g. Kosovo), secessionist demands (the Hungarians are waming up), and small religious groups trying to define themselves as 'nationalities' (so-called 'Bosniaks'). It is death by a thousand cuts. And it's not just Serbia: Bosnia and Croatia have the same problem - and Greece and Bulgaria will get dragged in. Moreover, Kosovo, Macedonia, Republika Srpska, Bosniak-land (or whatever the latest Muslim 'dream' is!) and Montenegro will never be viable independent states - everyone knows that they are just little (bad) jokes.

Only EU membership has the prospect of sorting this mess out - making spurious Balkan borders and ethnic 'nationalities' a thing of the past. In practice, it means a South Slavic area within the EU. There is no other option, other than recreating a non-EU Yugoslavia again by force. But nobody wants that.
