"The secretary-general and I agreed that it is a very positive step that dialogue will start between Belgrade and Priština, and this dialogue needs to touch on every open issue"

Kosovo status is closed Mr Tadic.

And you more to talk about the status, the more you keep fueling the other states to recognize kosovo

I demand return of 2 million Albanians to Sandjak of Nish as a preconditions of any negotiations with Seriba. Sanjak of Nish was always part of Kosovo.

He told the UN secretary-general that Serbia is not changing its stance and will never recognize Kosovo.

"The conflict between Serbs and Albanians which has existed for years needs to be resolved by compromise, so that all of us together can have a European future and offer our citizens a chance at a better life," Tadić said.

-- These two statement cannot stand together. They are the antithesis of each other. Nobody, other than the causal Serb, is naive enough to believe an end of the conflict between Serbs and Albanians (which really is about independence or no independence) while having the attitude that not recognizing an independent Kosovar state somehow equals compromise. Such thing equals compromise only in the heads of the Serbs.

"...this dialogue needs to touch on every open issue," Tadić pointed out.

Does that mean the Kosovo status? Opss that was not the deal agreed with the latest UN resolution.

Is the Serbian dialog/monolog purely to distruct the international community mainly the countries that have recognised Kosovo independence "to hold on as we are still in negotiations"?

"He told the UN secretary-general that Serbia is not changing its stance and will never recognize Kosovo."

Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci said today that we will negotiate with Serbia only as two independent countries.

I am optimistic by nature but if Serbia doesnt recogninse Kosovo independence first any negotiationa will be a waste of time.
