The Albanian language daily Koha Ditore writes that they want the EU mission to "begin combating organized crime and arresting the main suspects for smuggling and other serious criminal acts".

Do I understand it right? Does it mean some troublesome times for Thaci and his buddies? ;-)

Things should start to look a little brighter this week.
A fresh start.
The question is whether you want to move on.

Didin't some albanian official say that albanian secret police were operating in the North? I guess it was a lie too. Focus on Pristina and other corrupt albanian dominated cities in Kosovo and leave Serbs alone.

I agree with Winston. It's unbelievable that a narco-prime minister can be so shameless to ask to act "immediately" against the organised crime of whom he is one of the main actors. What to say? the show goes on

@ pms - if you cant agregate these facts: that EULEX 'neutrality' is a blanket for Anti-UDI, that EU diplomacy strung you along along with diplomatic drama into re-integration talks for our benefit and that Haradinaj is rotting in jail then you wont grasp why ANTI-EULEX ALBIN KURTI is the most popular 'politician' in KiM while you B92 Albanians in the West are scared to admit you're out of touch with REALITY

The Pristina duo should take their comedy act on the road - they can be the new Belushi brothers. This is a joke, right? They have a lot of nerve talking about organized crime in N. Kosovo, when their part of KiM is a black hole saturated in criminal activity. Crime is the only thing, asides from western handouts, that keep Albanian Kosovo from sinking.

-- All in good time, and I suspect once EULEX begins to work with the legitimate institutions up north - those represented by Mitrovica - we can clean up the corruption. But since Pristina's authority is non-existant up there, and most likely will continue to remain that way, I suspect once EULEX treats the Serb institutions as legitimate institions and not "parallel" institutions, their leaders will be more willing to work with EULEX.

Good investigations need time, in North like in South. Don´t be impatience. A lot of criminals from North and South will face the court.

Don´t point with fingers to others, just deal with your own criminals, I´m sure you have enough.

EULEX is acting - as an unofficial branch of MUP as I said from the start and I was right and it's gonna be ever more obvious as time goes by, more obvious than the way Albanians got their narco-politicians played into re-starting re-integration talks. Where are those 45 recognitions plus those pesky 5 anti-UDI EU states you need?

It is very hard to determine if you really believe what you post (as it has no basis in fact at all) or if you are just posting to elicit response?
