Of the 20 people that voted in the Afghan elections nationwide, 14 were killed, 5 were wounded, and 1 survived unscathed. He, later it was found out, actually thought he was voting to get the NATO aggression out of his country. After final review, the Western monitors declared his vote void, on the basis he live there. The election was claimed as an overwhelming victory for the Western-backed coalition. Long live America.

The elections are seen as a key test of the government's fight against the Taliban and corruption.

This is a US war not Karzai's one.
The "US's own anti-corruption drive" ? The goal of the US is to secure the permanent domination of US corporations and NGOs in Afghanistan. That is what the US calls an "anti-corruption drive", the installation of American dominated corruption.

Under the Taliban opium pruduction was virtually eliminated and since the US invasion has been restored as
the biggest producer with Chemicals and labs necessary to convert it to heroin arriving mysteriously.
Transport logistics is not a problem either.

Yes it starts to look like the Laos / Cambodia / Thai drug deals of the 70s and the CONTRA deals in the 80s.
It might sound as a conspiracy theory but in truth the CIA are the biggest drug transporters in the world.

"Free" elections at gunpoint occupation & an installed puppet regime, now thats democrasy isn´t it?

Almost the same in serbia, US-installed puppet regime under constant threats from EUSSR and Camp bondsteel carefully waching over their occupation...
