The situation at the Vukovar hospital has nothing to do with this political gesture!
Ustashi committed countless number of heinous and despicable atrocities!
It was a very common act for the Ustashi to fight from hospitals and churches for the pure use of media propaganda!
The Croat soldiers who died in the hospital were cowards hiding behind their own wounded!

The Croat poster here need to grow up and stop acting like the poor victims and be accountable for their criminal actions, then move forward.

Why isn't Serbia or Serbs going after Croat death squad head TOMISLAV MERCEP. He is the guy who purposely shattered any hope of peace in Vukovar and INITIATED the killings there.

He and the Croat police and militants started kidnapping and torturing Serbs in Vukovar. The Croat government smuggled him out during the fall and he went on with his death squads in the Gospic area. One of his men, Miro Bajramovic, confessed to a Croat newspaper how he himself was responsible for killing 86 mostly civilian Serbs - and he was just one of Miro's men.

The numbers of Serbs (and a few Croats too) Tomislav Mercep and his men are responsible for killing must number well over a thousand in Vukovar and the Gospic areas.

Not soldiers, croatian paramilitaries (i.e. HOS and such like) who were very 'busy' with serb civilians (if you have bothered to look for the v/t of their handiwork).

Then again, the Hague never indicted Tomislav Mercep (despite several claimed investigations), the acceptable face of croatian fascism. Apparently croatian treatment of their minorities at the time is ok with the ICTY.

"You mean to apologize to the croatian soldiers that were hiding in the hospital amongst the patients?"

A Serbian President need not apologize for the death of these soldiers.

They were executed by volunteers solely based on the order given by the commander of these volunteers.

Papajojn, don't talk about things you don't know. The soldiers who were in the Vukovar hospital were injured, for some sying in their beds. I know this because I have relatives who were living there during the war. What you say is propaganda and desinformation

I know very little about Josipovic but until now he acted more than a Serb and not as a Croate. He might be a good pianist and according to some people a "composer" but I don't think that is the right qualification to be president. Anyway the Croates elected him and it is their business.

I am happy to see fine Serbian (or are they Yugoslav?) citizens here to care so much about that sad time of war between the brothers. Curious, are they (Burim, Rocky) feel more like Yugoslavs, Croats, Serbo-Croats or more like Serbs? All of this is acceptable for me.

The day Albanian trolls not troll will be the day for Serbian president to visit Pristina.

You mean to apologize to the croatian soldiers that were hiding in the hospital amongst the patients? All sides can go back and forth pointing out the bad things their enemies did. Anyway, I applaud the Croat president for his views on democracy, and improving relations with former adversaries. What a breath of fresh air this man speaks, from the likes of a Mesic. And all you hate-mongers here, go outside, enjoy the sunshine, enjoy your freedom, and leave the bitterness aside for maybe just one day, it will do you and the world some good.

Not a single country wants to see the president of the country that wanted and still wants everything that it is not theirs to still.

It would be a great opportunity to apologize to all Croats and especially those from Vukovar for what happened at the hospital after the fall of the city.
