As for Wordsworth, calling your bosses and so-called european 'allies' "Stupid" is in itself quite stupid. How did he get the job again? Even the US sent an Ambassador (Mary Warlick) who has expertise and experience in the CEEC's, Russia and economics. Wordsworth can't even manage his own words!

Where there is a will, there is a way. Why do you think the EU employs so many lawyers? If you know anything about the EU, never say "never". Their hypocrisy stinks to high heaven but they cannot smell it from all the large dinners they have on expenses.

Go visit the European Parliament and if you are lucky, get to see pensioners rooting around the trash from supermarkets after closing.

Unfortunately too many people (in Serbia still it seems) believe that Brussels=the Emerald City of the Wizard of Oz. In fact, this is not a bad analogy as Dorothy and co. (Tadic as Dorothy or maybe the Cowardly Lion)? discover that the Wizard is in fact no wizard at all but a bunch of faceless bureaucrats who sit behind closed doors and wrap things up with the agreement of their masters in foreign lands.

This does beg the question, "Who is the Wicked Witch of the West?" Maybe more than one person I suppose. Wicked Witch of the East squashed by their arrival (too easy).

As usual, the Serbian opposition is useless. They could at least offer 'EU standards and the euro but no EU'. That way the blackmail from Brussels will be minimal, but they'll have to go about implementing these standards honestly.

This long process will be just long enough to prevent Serbia entering the EU, not because the EU will close their doors, but because there will be no more EU. It's already falling apart under the weight of it's debt. Greece will be the first to drop out and then the rest will follow. In the meantime Serbia will give away Kosovo for what?

"The process of EU accession takes time and this is why it is unwise to set deadlines which can only lead to frustration and disappointment,” he added.

Hmm, deadlines? Besides that, the EU access procedure is clearly defined, with steps to be taken, conditions to be fulfilled. In case of the latest enlargments (Bulgaria, Romania), some unfulfilled conditions have been ignored. I don't expect that to happen again. On the other hand: Once all conditions are fulfilled, no EU country will delay further integration of balkan states.
