It's hard to contemplate dropping a nuke on someone when you've walked their cities and talked to their people.

Rubbish. Madeline Albright was all for bombing Serbia even though her family was saved by the Serbs when she was a child.
More human face you could not put on a situation and yet she was a very loud advocate for it.

The US military did not receive a really nice reception in Serbia. There were some very unpleasant statements made while they were there.

However, I would not worry too much about the US military because its a useless spent force now seeking “friends” after its defeat in Iraq and impending loss in Afghanistan. I have heard a few US officers state that bombing Serbia was the worst mistake its government made after invading Iraq, but to me I don’t care what they think nor feel as I watch their young men die or return horrible maimed. All mistakes have a cost.

The US is finished as a fighting force of any kind. It took the US 30 years to take any action after Vietnam; it will take another 70 years after the current debacle, but by then no one will care.

For those that think the US will build training and educational facilities, well they can keep them after their failures. Who wants to cooperate or be involved in any aspect with a loser on this scale and the US is the greatest loser in history. It has destroyed itself as a last major superpower on this planet.

It is called cooperation, not treating Serbia as a colony. There is always those who try to spin the news. If the Serbian Military wants to cooperate with the US then so be it. Build training and educational facilities to promote teamwork. I guess if you don't put it that way there is always someone who has to be negative.

US military going to Serbia right after it capitulates on the UN kosovo resolution-it is like Serbia is a colony of the US.

Only someone that is less than 20 years old could think this. The US has frequently had military delegations to opposing countries, including the old Soviet Union and China. In the 90s there were Mil to Mil programs that facilitated exchanges between US and Eastern European countries on a regular basis, including former Warsaw Pact nations. This is a good thing. In the Cold War days such delegations were meant to put a "human face" on the adversary. It's hard to contemplate dropping a nuke on someone when you've walked their cities and talked to their people.

while the real us military is in force in camp bondsteal kosovo-the mickey mouse us national guard parades with the mickey mouse serbian military in serbia.

the picture of this serbian general sandwiched inbetween the american weekend warriors should be carefully observed by kosovo serbs. when the albanians decide to strike the remnents of the serb population in kosovo it will be this sad, serbian army that will protect you.

The kosovo serbs need to pack thier bags and save themselves and thier families. they should flee kosovo and serbia-because in serbia and amongst the serbs there is no honour-just treachery.
