"Jeremic with all his actions, especially the latest adventure at the UNGA, and Tadic with remarks such as those in here keep showing to the world that Serbia's politicians are totally opposite to how diplomats should act." (Gustave)

-- Um, how should they act then? The link you provided showed Tadic's willingness to compromise. As an Albanian you have a problem with that? What did you want him to do? Stonewall? What would that have done? Didn't they do what everyone was hoping they'd do? Are you sure you're understanding this correctly?

Jeremic should resign and join a more patriotic party or start one of his own.
He is the only decent person in his party. He is the only one there genuinly trying to do what is in Serbia's itnerests, unlike the rest.

He should go somehwere where he will be supported and not stabbed in the back.

What a waste of talent, hitching his wagon to the sellouts.

Nonsense, you can always try to present a betrayal as a great victory but I doubt people will believe you.
Vuk and Boris, the show is over now.

Vuk was not the one to hold conversations of indecent proposals and accept them from Baroness Ashton - Tadic did, so he should go!

Of course Tadic won't resign so the opposition must ensure they are best prepared for the most important elections that will matter to Serbia - this will be Serbia's real test of sovreignity!

EU only is not the best path for Serbia!

As a Serb-American, I am left with the impression that the Serbian government must think the people of Serbia are children that can be manipulated. Once Belgrade agreed to negotiate with Pristina as "equals" over technical issues and not status issues, which they have done, then that means we recognize Kosovo independence if Serbia negotiates with Kosovo as "equals". The point is that if Kosovo's UDI is not recognized, they can't be equal to Serbia. If Serbia admits they are, then the game is over. Tadic sold us out.

I met up with a K-Albanian who told me that his guys in Pristina should have two statues of Tadic and Jeremic errected as these two men have done more over the past few months to get Kosovo into the K-Albanians hands than any US or EU actions!

Excellent news. Only the likes of Seselj and Mladic would be more useful to Albanians and co if they were in Jeremic's place.

Why, that's what most of the Albanian posters and their supporters here have been saying all along. Jeremic with all his actions, especially the latest adventure at the UNGA, and Tadic with remarks such as those in here :

http://tinyurl.com/2ugqmpl

keep showing to the world that Serbia's politicians are totally opposite to how diplomats should act. Jeremic's total lack of diplomacy will only bury Serbia deeper in isolation.

It is very amusing to see Serb posters still supporting Jeremic. Keep it up guys :) . We support him too! ;)

There was a lot of reaction on these boards as if the UN declaration was a fait accompli - it was not. UNSCR 1244 is still in effect.

A country cannot afford to have open two embassies in one country.

Jeremic's work needs to continue to try to negotiate and roll back a recognition or two.

Getting rid of Vuk would have been the stupidest thing Belgrade could have done at this point. More than anyone else, Vuk is responsible for bringing the Kosovo issue back to the negotiating table, and even if status is not the main priority now, Serbia, now with full EU support and the absence of US pressure, stands poised to gain more out of a compromise over Kosovo than they were forced to swallow two and a half years ago. If Vuk can be as forceful and as dedicated in the upcoming talks as he's been in creating credible doubt over Kosovo's status in his international diplomatic blitz, Belgrade can still gain some strategic concessions. He's got my support more than anyone else in DS or the current governemnt.

I think that Jeremic must be replaced. By removing him Serbia will leave behind destructive policies that can only bring themselves and the region backwards.
