"As long as Albanians enter new negotiation (which is the point of all the drama) without a UN majority, then Serbia will be the winner even though the threat of EU rejection & the return of Seselj forced our govt to capitulate - because anti-UDI countries know that Serbia was blackmailed.

Of course they know it was blackmailed - so what?? Except that they don't look up to Serbia as a champion of territorial integrity any longer, what's changed in their positions? Are they going to fight harder for Serbia than Serbia does for itself?

"However, Serbia’s EU candidacy is not directly tied to the Kosovo resolution that was adopted, the source said."

I'm sure the Eu will remind Serbia of this in the future when they want to speed up their accession. Now that the EU has what it wants, it can string Serbia along for as long as it wants. I'll be amazed if the rest of the Balkans joins the EU EVER, but if they do it'll be 10-20 years, MINIMUM. With the EU countries all financially in the mire, there'll be no hurry to take in new countries. EU 1 - Serbia 0. Now that the fog is clearing, the Serbian people will hear what will really happen to them with regards Europe, no doubt from a big team of foreign ministers all saying the same thing - Thanks, but no thanks Serbia.
