Bosniaks in general are different people than Serbs and Croats (different tribe of Slavs that originates from Bosnia, not Serbia and Croatia- calling them Serbs or Croats is the same as calling Serbs - Croats or Bosniak, or Croats - Serbs.
Sandzak Bosniak are even more specifice since great deal of their genotype comes from Albanians from northern Albania that moved to Montenegro and Sebia (Peshter plateau) in the 17 century. Just come to Sandzak to see the difference in looks, let alone culture of Bosniak to Serbs (you could easily think they are Albanians especially in Tutin, Novi Pazar and Sjenica).

Spunky, you forgot to mention that there are some Albanians in Montengro who identify with Bosniaks.
Not sure why but they do.

You are correct in your assesment. Many of these so-called Bosniaks in Serbia are Serb by blood by are Muslim.

I don't see why you can't have 2 brothers who practice 2 different religions.

Our former presdient GW Bush is Protestant and his brother Jeb is Catholic.

These people are Serb. Their religion should not stand in the way from living harmoniously within Serbia.

Relax, my brother Serbs, for an autonomous Sandzak there will never be. Zukorlic is playing to his constituents, nothing more. He knows that Serbia and Montenegro wouldn't agree to this, especially as no one outside the region has anything to gain from coming to his aid. He just wants to be able to say that he tried.

Gajo, good fellow -- always keeping the dream of our beloved Krajina alive. Alas, that is a territory sadly lost, just as Kosovo now appears to be. Our incredibly shrinking land. Krajina, Republika Srpska, Kosovo i Metohija...all gone.

.He wants autonomy between two other states? He is a bold fellow considering "Bosniaks" make up less that 50% of the overall population.
(Mike, 9 September 2010 16:24)

The so called Krajina was only 11.5% of the overall population and you still pushed for complete independence and must I add -You LOST.

This is Muamer Zukorlić’s 15 minutes on the world stage and nothing else. Serbia will deal with him using western methods of leading him around and around until he gets so dizzy that he will fade away into nothing. There are two elements at work here with the first being that United States and second, Turkey.
Its best described as the “last Hurrah” for the US while the Turks have been lead to believe that they are a force to be reckoned with. There is this idea spreading in the Balkans that Turkey has a huge army and therefore it can influence policy and other issues there.
This will give you an idea of how well US is going – Obama announced a package to stem going into a second recession (I can’t recall them coming out of the first one) and part of it – this is the best part - $50 billion OVER A DECADE for infrastructure spending. This will not be enough to cover the consultants fees on repainting all the bridges in the US let alone kick start the economy.
During the 1960s China had a standing army of 10 million soldiers, but they could not influence the type of orange juice the Japanese were drinking for breakfast. The same applies to the Turks today – essentially Turkey is a third world country which cannot afford to buy the necessary military equipment to turn it army into a modern fighting force. Most of its equipment is donated. It’s the US blowing wind up their proverbial all the time and they have come to believe the propaganda – look at Turkish success in Iraq against the Kurds.
Let Zukorlić rant and rave because it will get him nowhere simply because Sandzak is not Kosovo and if he or his friends turn to violence they will be declared terrorists. This guy realizes that negotiations for Kosovo have to take place and if he can get something out on the sideline well that’s good and now is the time to stand up and yell. But the silly man can’t see the it’s all too late and that he should have done this in the late 1990s.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask Serbs to never ever accept any kind of autonomy for Sanjak. to me as an Albanian from Peja all muslims that speak Serbo-Croatian are either Serb or Croatian by blood. With the exception of some "muslims" surrounding the Kosovo border and Albanian border as they are 100% Albanians assimilated into so called "Moslems". I am sure many Albanians won't agree with my comment. But I don't care it is the truth. Those "muslims" instead of trying to separate themselves from the society they should better improve their daily lives by building a better future towards the EU and not towards Arabic and Turkish cultures. "Muslims" should also understand that they can't compare their cause with ours. They are Serbs of a muslim faith on the other hand we are just Albanians indigenous in area. religion is secondary to us. The Serbian people have to include these "muslims" into their society and not push away. I hope I got my point across. Cheers

In my previous post I forgot to mention that he also hired some renowned US PR company, maybe the same one that was involved in brainwashing people in the West that the Serbs were by default the bad guys and that had to prepare the US for the war in Afghanistan and Iraq (although they overplayed their hand with the embarrassing performance of Colin Powell in the UNSC). I guess when you become a foreign CIA operative you automatically will be consulted by this company for a reduced fee.

It is absolutely clear that this guy is on the CIA payroll list and it is a clear signal that the West's attempt to continue the disintegration of Serbia is not over (in fact, the next phase has started two years ago and the pace may be increasing for they have seen that Serbian politicians are easily to bully and are eager to give in threats and demands by people they think are friends). Tadic was the right man for the West to get things done. It is time for Serbs to finally wake up before it will be too late. Eventually Hungary also wants to be rewarded for being a US/EU partner and that means that Vojvodina is somewhere on the list as well.
(Milan, 9 September 2010 16:43)

no its clear this guy is crazy but i must say he is not smart at all since the region is not majority bosniaks in the montenegrin side, the Serbs are majority on the Serb side. the bosniaks are slight majority but nothing in big numbers here this is 2003 and they are less now than this

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sand%C5%BEak

and you speak of vojvodina that's not going to happen because right now the Serbs are between 70-75% at least. here's that report

http://lgi.osi.hu/documents.php?id=3132

but we know that republika srpska is not part of bosnia for sure that's going to go because Serbs are 90%+ in that autonomy part and next the Serbs should seek full autonomy in krajina because that's not croatian lands and it was Serbian in history and all Serbs to claim their houses and property if not done so yet. so thte fact is this bosniak is not in his right mind because he really thinks the bosniaks are a big majority which he is not even close .

This is starting to get a little ridiculous. What next-the autonomous Chinese province of Svilajnac? I am a huge believer in regionalisation and decentralisation BUT NOT on ethnic or religious grounds. Can you imagine what the response would be from Downing Street if the Serbs in London demanded an autonomous Orthodox province?! Enough already!

Am I close?

"He also warned that “anything can be happen if some has the idea to silence those who speak about autonomy with a boot and a nightstick”."

Let me guess your plan of action:

Terrorist attacks with the aim to get a police/military response...cries of "ethnic cleansing" and "massacres"...international intervention...international protectorate...declaration of independence...illegal secession...

Enough...

Mr Zukorlic nobody is keeping you against your will in Serbia. If you don't like it there then you are more than welcome to claim autonomy in French Polynesia...
