Probably others would need to take a look at the map to understand that this issue is not going to be solved by the likes of Namibia, Lesotho or Venezuela.
(Mark, 6 September 2010 21:40)

How about Honduras? Senegal? Micronesia?
(Goran., 7 September 2010 01:38)

What made Kosovo's independence a reality were the big European powers, because Kosovo understood that it is located in Europe, whereas Serbia took some time to understand it (or actually has not understood it yet)

How much foreign money has been given to the LDP?

Can someone provide a concrete answer to this, or is it conspiracy mongering?

It's obvious to everyone else that somethig is rotten in Denmark. You don't see it?

"Was it necessary for Bekim Fehmiu to die in order for us to realize that there are good Albanians?"

Great punchline. I don't know how it is related though.

Sensationalism, desperation, stupidity? I don't know but how it's related but some people can certainly draw a long bow.

After all of the money the west has thrown toward the ldp, you would think they would have more representation. The west should get their money back.
(JohnBoy, 7 September 2010 01:01)

Agreed John Boy, they should DEMAND their money back.

So much money yet so little return :)

Frankly I'm surprised that Serbia is not a world leader in renewable power. After all, Cedo produces such huge quantities of hot air I still can't believe that there has been no device yet devised that can capture this and actually turn it in to something useful.

I thought it was Vuk all along who's full of hot air!!!

Here is my poll question. What is more meaningless: the resolution OR cedo and the ldp?

Beyond slogans for the press, Cedo and the LDP have absolutely nothing to offer anyone (apart from dreams built upon castles in the air).

Woow, it appears that finally some Serbian politician took a look at the map and discovered that Serbia and Kosovo are located in Europe and not in Africa or Latin America.

“The problem of the Kosovo status is inherited and it is a consequence of the society’s deformation. Was it necessary for Bekim Fehmiu to die in order for us to realize that there are good Albanians?” he asked--

Cedi is one of the few politicians in serbia who dares to speak the truth, but when he does he becomes "an agent of the west." according to the usual nationalists...

god bless cedi, and keep him safe. and active. he absolutely represents the best of the djindjic legacy, and that's saying a lot!

Cedo speaks the truth but it feels good to know there's so many closeted Milosevic's among you. That way he'll never be elected. With the likes of Cedo the world sees the positive side of Serbia. Cedo would do damage to our cause. Tadic, Jeremic, Nikolic, Kostunica through the usual Serb inat and euphoric arrogance only work in our advantage. We would have payed vast ammounts of money to see Serbia be confrontational with the West. It suits our purpose. However with the likes of Taidc, Jeremic, Kostunica, Nikolic, we don't need to do that. They can do that themselves; you know the same way Milosevic did.

"...UN General Assembly and that it is not a place for solving the Kosovo issue...Brussels is the place"

Yes, Mr Jovanovic speaks wisdom. Let's not start a discussion in the assembly where 4/5 represented people don't support Kosovo independence. Let's discuss this matter in Brussels where 4/5 members do support Kosovo independence. With such a brilliant minds as Mr. Jovanovic I see great hope for my country.

"completely lost the power of influence on the lives of people in Kosovo"

So did we during Turks, but we didn't give up in few years, not even in few centuries. Learn a thing or two from Isrealis and Palestinians.

"The problem of the Kosovo status is inherited and it is a consequence of the society’s deformation."

It is inherited because of occupation by western countries. You have very short memory Mr. Jovanovic.

"Was it necessary for Bekim Fehmiu to die in order for us to realize that there are good Albanians?"

Great punchline. I don't know how it is related though.

"Jovanović said that Serbia was, in terms of gross domestic product (GDP), quality of life and stability, currently at 40 percent of the level from 1989"

Maybe that is because of corruption, and not because of Serbia government fighting for Kosovo. Why mix so many unrelated arguments into so few paragraphs?
