So, Kosova-USA - do you think that BiH should be forced to stay together against the will of the majority of its people. And Roberto: do you extend this defence of territorial iintegrity to Serbia and its province Kosovo? Since you're accusing others of hypocrisy, it would be interesting to hear your opinions on these questions

At the end of the day, Serbians and Croatians want nothing more than to permanently remove themselves from any influence of Bosniak Muslims as the breakup of Bosnia is the sound of inevitability.

This is weird , you all speak the same language, yet you asking Albanians to stick with Serbia, which have nothing in common.

“With political will we can move forward a lot in that country, even under the current Dayton structures,” he said, adding that a "new beginning most be implemented after the elections in order for the country to develop a united state and entities and in that way no one will lose any of their characteristics.”
“No one will be less of a Serb or Croat or Bosniak because of it, and life will be easier for everyone and they will function better in an effective Bosnia,” Inzko said, adding that it is important for European integration."

The OHR needs to take a more pro-active stance, in keeping down the radical elements (esp.ly but not only dodik and co.) and promoting the welfare of bosnia and ALL bosnians.

so many people on this site wish for the destruction of bosnia -- but do they wish the same for their beloved serbia as well? becuase what comes around will go around, one way or another.

it is a LIE that bosnia is an impossible country. there are a great many bosnians, of all religions and ethnicities, that have faith in their country and wish it only the best.

but the radical elements, esp.ly but not exclusively bosnian serb, have not given up the evil plan of slobo/karadzic/ mladic (who the "moderate" blgd regime contiues to harbor, give me a break!)and will do anything to undermine the country.
and the role of the intrnl's has been at best ambiguous. they claim to want what's best for bosnia, but they never follow thru on the necessary steps -- then they plead: oh why can't you poor bosnians just get along?!

it doesn't work that way.
when you facilitate all the worst extremes, and then nearly castrate the national (federal) structures, allow and facilitate all of the demagogues it is surely an ugly mix.

i love bosnia and will do whatever i can to see that that beautiful if imperfect, multi-ethnic nation is not destroyed.

Inzko is regularly told to shut up and stay in his box by Dodik. In fact last time this Austrian opened his mouth in RS, Dodik had him thrown out of Banja Luka and publicly belittled. So as any intelligent person can see this so called High representative is northing but a “paper tiger”.

This Inzko thinks that the October elections are going to make a difference. I have to say this again and again, but western politicians all suffer from the worst virus know to humanity – stupidity.

I don't think that the representative is being honest or in good faith. The fact is that the international community did not decide to extend that position... the west decided to. The international community is opposed to this redundant position.

An Austrian in Bosnia As High Representtative followed by a German KFOR commander in Kosovo, go figure. Where the hell did I hear that occupational rhetoric before?

Those two nations butched Serbs in the 20th century like no other, and now they are back, giving us a lecture about unificaiton of Bosnia the use of force to particion Kosovo from Serbia.

First of all there is no need for these to be there any longer. What are they still doing there? They are the ones which create problems out of nothing. Getting paid huge bucks to give lectures. How would they like to work in afghanistan or iraq? But of course it's Serbs we're talking about here so double standars are a must. But RS i practically independent.

olovo,

I know some persons from Bosnia. And the Croats from Bosnia really feel Croat in the first place.

A few years aga Croatia played a football match against Turkey. Croats and Muslims in Bosnia fought each other. Croats supporting Croatia. Muslims supporting Turkey.

Why on earth are citizens of Bosnia supporting Croatia if they really feel they are Bosnians? Same goes for Muslims and Serbs of course.

If for the average Croat and Serb in Bosnia Croatia and Serbia where something like let's say Mexico and Canada would be for an American then there would be a future for Bosnia.

But let's face it. The majority of the citizens of Bosnia doesn't see himself/herself as Bosnian!

Sad but true!

Let's end this tragedy! And yes: I hate to write these words!

Was in Bosnia last month, spent time in Croatian part and did not see anything but Croat flags and Croatian goods for sale. Was in Mostar saw the stari most and was shocked at the debris below it namely litter and plastic bottles, and this a World Heritage site. Bosnia really is a divided place, the so-called international community must start to tell the truth about Bosnia and it,s woeful state of partition. Please note Croats,Serbs will never accept rule from Sarajevo a city which may as well be on Mars..

Mr Inzko (did i spell it right?), a re-unification of yugoslavia (which is the exact opposite) of the destruction of Bosnia, would be an even bigger victory for the Socialist party and Slobo, dont you think?

Srboslav

pre 13 godina

Ok, mr Inzko, what do you suggest? That muslim government in Sarajevo gets to rule a "unified" non entity Bosnia the same way they currently rule the M-C federation? How long before RS would be equally bancrupt that the federation is now?
That would be some success, wouldn't it :-(
