The only way Kosovo will ever be a part of ANYTHING is through Serbia.

The only "Fact" here is that without Serbia Kosovo will forever be a criminal black hole!

"The tone of Westerwelle’s visit to Belgrade was not so much imperious as petulant. Germany and the EU have hardly tried to disguise annoyance with their clients in Serbia, who have so far refused to do as told and officially concede that the Serbian province occupied by NATO in 1999 is now the "Independent state of Kosovo." (ISK)"

"What happened to the removal of visa restrictions for "kosovars"?

Instead of worrying so much about Kosovo which declared independece only two and half years ago, why you don't give one honest check on achievements of Serbia for all decades that she is a country? Instead of worrying about removal of visa restrictions for kosovars why you don't ask yourself how come that the country who received the visa liberalisation had her citizens even go through visa restrictions rather than having EU membership so far?
Kosovo has to go though fulfilling of the same technical conditions in order to have visa liberalization. Serbia has been working to fulfill these conditions at least since 2004.

The list of requirements is expected from the EU in September.

“Independence of Kosovo and its territorial integrity are a fact,” Westerwelle said and added that “the map of the Balkans has already been drawn”.

I thought he did say the same think in Belgrade. That means STRAIGHT TALK to me. How it comes Serbia welcome Him and not the others)))

The funniest part of this story is that guido is lying to the k-albos - germany couldn't care less what happens to them. What happened to the removal of visa restrictions for "kosovars"? Also, did guido stay overnight in pristina or did he run out of that trash pile as soon as he could like most diplomats from kosovo's ardent supporters? Did you ever wonder why all those westerners make kosovo the last stop, arrive in the morning and leave before nightfall?

You know, a fish rots from the head down. So these "institutions" should start with themselves first..

Sure in the 'euro family.' That's why albanians are applying for Serbian passports in mass numbers with claim of residence in Serbia. Why don't you put your 'friends' on 'white list' so they can travel with no visa?

So the Germans are still trying to redraw borders. Nothing new there.

German arrogance alive and well, nothing new there.

Germany supports Bosnian Muslims, Croats and Albanians. And Serbia? Usual threats. Nothing new there either.

I wonder if Serbia will make a stand for freedom and justice. She must remember she has the future on her side.

I can only think this hardline response is because there is a feeling that the liars (see Kosovo is not connected with EU integration) and thieves must be really disappointed with wht is happenig at the UN.
