France to continue Roma expulsions

It is appalling how the West treat Roma. Particularly Germany and France.

I can't be the only one thinking this would qualify for a NATO airstrike if something like this happened in the Balkans.

Romas, no problem....Romas begging in the street ....problem.

The West want Romania and Bulgaria in NATO and to lend them money to buy expensive military equipment, to fight their wars and to integrate within the EU but they don't want the Roma. Sorry but they will have to accept them in 2012.

sadly that almost happened to me in Nish, where the Romas have apparently taken over the city.
In Bosna however, this same scene could not happen. No wander Brcko is much much much clearer than Nish (and even Novi Sad, for the matter).

Thats sad.... Why Serbia? Why not in Bosnia or Croatia or Kosovo?

If France would have tried to integrate the Romas, and other immigrants, and consider them as first class citizens, there would have been no Romas begging ithe streets to make a few bucks to feed their family.

Maybe its different where you are, but here, that is the Roma's chosen profession. They choose to support themselves this way, it is not thrust upon them for lack of other opportunities.

I think you're missing the point. They aren't being expelled from their homes, but being deported from a country they entered illegally back to their homes.
