Now let's see how that will affect Armenia's vote. Add one to the number of the countries, which have recognized Kosovo.
Azeri diplos are not so smart, to tell you the truth. Nagorny are dying to be compared to Kosovo. This certainly does no favors to the Azeris' cause.

KU,

You are right in you comment) The ambassador must have been having a long sleep during the summer. Hey he is not the only one who reside in Serbia. Did you read the statement from the Indian ambassador few days ago? She was talking about Josif Broz Tito time....how great the relationship between Yugoslavia and India are. There are more sleepy ambassodors residing in Serbia to come forward))

That's right, JohnC. The world is not simple and the world needs rules about territorial integrity and secessionism, not this stupid, criminal system imposed on the world by america that says only america's interests must be respected. Did you ever stop to consider why countries try to obtain or develop their own nuclear weapons? Answer: So that they don't get pushed around and invaded by the usa. Even if it was true, which I doubt, can you explain why Russia would do something like that? Or better question, what would be america's reaction be if Canada or Mexico became communist countries? I'll even give you a hint - think about Cuba.

Mr Hasanov ambassador,

did you not learn anything from the reactions of Spain, Slovakia, and Cyprus? They all distanced themselves after the ICJ, all said Kosovo is unique it does not apply to their situations. Why oh why do you tie the fate of your issue with the fate of Serbia's issue? Were you sleeping during the summer?

Azerbeidjan simply knows: Kosovo = Karabakh!
And China knows: Kosovo = Taiwan.

So I think the most countries in Africa and Asia (and some in Europe) will support the Serbian drafd=t.

The ambassador noted that his country supports initiatives to solve the issue peacefully, and explains that the territory is "historically Azerbaijani, occupied by Armenian forces".

Right, and those "Orthodoxian" Armenians which control Aseri territory get their training and equipment from their Orthodoxian brothers in Russia.

The world is not so simple.
