If Bosnia is such a failure, why don't you go to Serbia? No one is stopping you, the only thing which couldn't go with you is BOSNIAN LAND. I cannot stress the importance of the next election, but if your going to sit back and talk about Bosnia negatively then you are no better than the nationalist. But what you can do is help the people who used to be your neighbours, even today, your still neighbours. In the end, It won't be Americans and UN people dieing, it will be bosnians and serbs.

Like I said, what happens within the next two months is important, the fate of Bosnia will be decided, let's hope everything will be peaceful.

The leader of the biggest party in Belgium parlimanet (again the BIGGEST party) says: Belgim will cease to exist the coming 20 years.

Belgium!

And then we, the West, want to force Serbians and Albanians in a state they do not want?

Come on!

Bosnian leaders should visit Belgium to see how a federation slowly is dismantled.

Please go there! Belgium is falling apart. So then why Bosnia must become a unified state?

Dodik has quite a gal to call Bosnia "dysfunctional" when his own obstruction is the reason for that.

(K.C., 19 August 2010 16:32)

Uh, no K.C., you are wrong. The reason for the Federation not doing well is a super high tax rate which has drawn businesses to RS. You cannot blame the failings there on Dodik, but on the Federation's leaders.

Bosnia CAN function as a country, ONLY if RS and the M-C federation are not allowed to dominate over oneanother! As long as RS is not ruled from Sarajevo it will stay in Bosnia, is that so hard for the muslim fundamentalists and EU/USA to understand?
Dodik is actually the saviour of Bosnia, not the destroyer.

It will be intersting to se how the elections will go in Oktober, will the muslims once again vote corrupt SDA into power or will they protest? It probably depends on the warpensions they always fool the people with BEFORE the elections...

"According to reports from Banja Lukam [sic!] today, RS PM Milorad Dodik said Bosnia-Herzegovina was increasingly showing its inability to survive."

Yeah, listen to him. After all, who would know better than he?

So Turkey is now the enemy of the Serbs. Heard that one before? Perhaps Mr. Tadic care to comment too? Or perhaps better stay out of the BiH election campaign...

K.C,

What do you know about BiH and democracy? Nothing! For one, it is complex and stripping and absolving structures and tossing them into a central organ will fail and cause civil war again. Three large groups, mainly divided by faith that will never be subjected to central rule or rule by any one other than their own. Belief in the judicial system and police functioning as well. Through in education, cultural and social elements...what binds them? Inter-state trade? Food? Transporation to key areas? Commerce? Don't throw three birds in the same small cage - it doesn't get pretty.

OK, Dodik, what are you waiting for? Call for a vote in the RS parliament for the RS's UDI. International law says that it is not illegal. Or did the us pay you, too.

The 'majority' can't even pay for itself. It can barely pay all the pensions of its own war veterans. Suck all the democracy you like, but you will starve if you don't deal with the endemic corruption and the massive bureaucracy of the M-C Federation.

The moslems and croats can't even hold their own politicians to account. The just let them continue to steal their money... That's 'democracy' in Bosnia.A

nIK

There is no agreement by Serbs Croats and Bosniaks on how to proceed in this state.Ergo removing the entities which couldn't be done by themelves means an external attempt by the west.
This in turn proves how artificial it is because they couldn't agree on external attempts eg Butimir October 2009.

Abolish both entities, make it a real democracy where nobody can object majority and Bosnia will function.
