You could not underline it, there is nothing and I repeat nothing in Resolution 1244 that guarantees any rights in Kosovo for Serbian government officials.
==========================

The fact that Resolution 1244 guarantees Serbian sovereignty over Kosovo is all that is necessary.
That alone says that Serbian officials have the right to enter Kosovo.
Does it say anywhere in your "Kosova constitution" that Serbian officials don't have the right to enter Kosovo?
When a terirtory is your own that guarantees you the right of passage.

What is it with you albanians and ignorance..little people big complex, but always asking to se it in black and white and still don`t get it.
You all have seen it..not only politicians but army too.
Impotence of thaci and co.to prove it otherwise with these little gimmicks will never work..that is until we say what goes ..

You could not underline it, there is nothing and I repeat nothing in Resolution 1244 that guarantees any rights in Kosovo for Serbian government officials. It does provide for the development of a democratically elected govt for Kosovo and for UNMIK to turn authoritative powers over to them.
This is why so many here wave the banner of 1244 without any knowledge of what is exactly in it. Not Albanian but thanks for the compliment!

"I will come and go, and if there's any incident of any kind, EULEX will be responsible, since they have to secure the visits of Serbian politicians to the province," said Bogdanović.

He must be a brave/crazy man to look for trouble. Good luck! Just one more thing. Serbia should not try playing the fool but "trying to ignore Kosovo government/institutions".

-- But according to your comment, he was still able to go - just in a private vehicle instead of a state one. Ok, so what? He reached his intended destination. And if KPS is really the ones in charge now, I suspect throwing a few euros their way will open a number of barriers.

What ultimately matters is whether Thaci's proclamation will stand - or worse be enforced. I don't think it will. EULEX will eventually pressure Thaci to fall back into line and/or KPS will bribed to look the other way. The fact that KPS's authority seems to only work south of the Ibar is indicative of the limits of its effectiveness.
(Mike, 19 August 2010 17:37)

And as we all know, we have IC watching us. We need to play our cards right, you do understand, right.

What goes for bribing our law enforcement, good luck and tell me how that went. EULEX cant do much looking at how opposition parties are doig everything to make Thaci's Government look weak, and they (EULEX/ICO) arent interested in change of Government, not when a guy such as Thaci who rarely goes against them and they having strings on him. So welcome and visit Kosovo, but leave your official position at the Government back home.

Yet another unnecessary provocation

The President of Hungary was prevented entering as a provoction of the (fallen) previous PM of Slovakia to win extremist votes for the then upcoming elections. Now they pay the price, the case is goning to the European Court, since it was a blatant violation of the right of free movement of EU citizens.

Primitive sabre-rattling rather than the actions of a statesman. Strange how when Slovakia blocked politicians from Hungary from entering they were criticised quite vociferously from within the EU yet in this case, our European "partners" seem to have contracted another case of political laryngitis that apparently resurfaces every time a particular ethnic group is affected!

Like all other times Hash gets into a hissy fit over Belgrade officials trampling through "his" territory, he shows his impotence by calling on other parties to enforce his demands. And like all other times before, this will go away in a few days as KFOR has better things to do and EULEX takes a neutral postion. Much ado about nothing, and Hash is, as he's always proven himself to be, "nothing".

No, it's time for Serbia to react by invoking Res 1244 instead of begging pro-UDI govts who hate us.

Curious as to "How" you invoke 1244?

Serbian politicians were asking for permission to enter in Kosova for humanitarian, religios, beacouse their dog was sick etc reasons.

And punctually they bever nissed the chance to betray the trust given to them: they would always then make political speaches.

Well you can swallow that once, twice but then you have to say: you are liers and you will not be allowed to come anymore.

About the how many Serbs have returned to their homes in Koosva: well much much more than a Bosnians in Srebrenica, Fodga, Banja Luka etc.

thaci`s desperation shows what little can albanians expect from him..
This little tirade of his will pass as well,he just needs someone to read 1244 to him again and again..
No wonder albanians are so poor and uneducated, with criminals like him ruling what else can anyone expect.
(lids, 19 August 2010 13:40)
I need a little help, I cannot find anything in 1244 that guarantees Serbian politicians to move freely throughout Kosovo.

Thanks to Belgrad's initiative at ICJ, neither EULEX nor ICO will tell PRN anymore what to do, thanks alot guys. Oh and as I stated befor, another big thank you goes to Ivica Dacic, he couldnt resist mention Kosovo and 1244. First to go to today is Petkovic, he later returned back again for so-called privat visit using a civilian vehicle.

Bogdanović was planning to visit the village of Prilužje on Thursday, to open a new kindergarten.

Where? Can someone post a picture of a sign outside this city that says you are within the city limits of "priluzje".

Bog won't be going there any time soon. If he crosses the border illegally he won't be deported, he will be sent to Pristina to be processed into a jail/prison.
