"To become an EU member, either the provision in the constitution specifying that the Kosovo is a part of Serbia needs to be removed from the constitution, or the EU member states which acknowledged Kosovo as an independent state have to find a compromise.

There is no and there will be no majority necessary for such amendment of the constitution (option no. 1), so option no. 2 (compromise) is the only practicable way.

"-- And those 20 something EU state will bend to Serbia's will because? ... Rest assured within a year or two if the Serbs aren't smart enough to have changed their constitution they will be joining the eastern block in a hurry. Belarus is waiting.

3. dht´s reply:

Of course, it is unlikely that these member states will find a compromise.

So Serbia will likely abstain from joining the EU.

By the way, Belarus is not the top pariah state in Europe.

The top pariah state is "Kosova" flooding the European markets with heroin.

To Peggy, JohnBoy, milan, and wtf,

It is an honor to be posting on the same page as you!

The people of Serbia need to get organized. They need to sweep away the last relics of the so-called Democratic Opposition of Serbia (DOS) that came to power not at the ballot box but by a foreign-funded coup d'etat. We need to work tirelessly to spread these facts and to expose charlatans like Vuk Draskovic for the imperial lackeys that they are.

If each person who can see through the power facade were to make it his or her personal mission to reveal the system to at least one friend, the entire structure would soon collapse under the unbearable weight of truth.

The time is coming, soon.

"To become an EU member, either the provision in the constitution specifying that the Kosovo is a part of Serbia needs to be removed from the constitution, or the EU member states which acknowledged Kosovo as an independent state have to find a compromise. "

-- Yes the provision in the constitution specifying that the Kosovo is a part of Serbia needs to be removed from the constitution. Either that or it needs to be altered in such a way that it doesn't state that Kosova is part of Serbia but states something to the effect that Serbia regards the Kosova issue as not closed and awaits the closure of this issue through compromise and negotiations. Anything that states the opposite as you have it now speaks only of hypocrisy. You cannot claim to want compromise when you constitution denies compromise and makes it illegal. Autonomy means compromise only in the heads of the Serbs and as long as that is the case Serbia will be in confrontation with the majority of the EU that clearly don't think autonomy is compromise. As for all the EU members changing their tune just so they could save Serbia's face; those are just pipe dreams. Here on one side you have the majority of EU who have the power and the money that feeds Serbia yearly on the loans they give to her; and on the other side you have Serbia that really cannot offer anything because it doesn't have any power, the constitution prohibits from offering anything and it doesn't administer a damn thing. So what we have here is Serbia falling in its own trap and red lines.

"There is no and there will be no majority necessary for such amendment of the constitution (otion no. 1), so option no. 2 (compromise) is the only practicable way."

-- And those 20 something EU state will bend to Serbia's will because? You do know that the world doesn't revolve around Serbia and you do know it only takes Sorro's sneeze to leave all of Serbia unemployed. So then why will the powerful West bend to a Serbia that can't feed itself without them? Rest assured within a year or two if the Serbs aren't smart enough to have changed their constitution they will be joining the eastern block in a hurry. Belarus is waiting.

He said that Serbia should not run into conflicts with the West in defending its national interests in Kosovo, adding that he is convinced that the government is united in the stance that Serbia cannot achieve its national interests in Kosovo without the help of the EU and U.S

Serbia can only achieve her national interests with help of USA? They are the ones threatening Serbia's national interest.

Vuk Draskovic and the SPO are carbon copies of Gary Kasparov and his movement in Russia. They both have nearly zero support within thier own countries, but they get a disproportionate amount coverage by certain outside influenced media organizations.

99% of Serbs know exactly what the SPO and Darskovic are-foreign lackeys. But Draskovic is very populare in Washington circles, americas boy in Serbia as they call him.

Hopefully when a new government takes power in Belgrade the money trail from Washington DC to Mr. Draskovics' front steps will be exposed and he will face justice in the courts of Serbia.

They can try to change the constitution, but there is no running away if they anger the Serbian people. Even the mighty america could not protect them. Serbia's only problem with kosovo has been its corrupt leaders. Since the fall of Milosevic, I have seen a parade of american politicians strutting around and bragging about how they own Serbia. draskovic sold himself to america - cedo was always owned by america. If they were honest, they would walk around Beograd carrying american flags.

Adopting to €USSR standards and step by step abandon Sovereignty & independence is the last thing Serbia should do.

If serbs manage to unseat Tadic & the puppet regime, which they will unless he becomes a US- backed dictator by name as well, no other party could seriously sell the EU, stick & mace policy any more. Serbs are fed up being bullied by the western regimes. The time for joining the real international community is here.
