Serbian actress wins at Swiss festival

Jasna Đurišić has won Best Actress award for her performance in Oleg Novković's "White White World" at the Locarno Film Festival.

Yes Jason I think so. Try Normalni Ljudi, seem to remember it had subtitles. Fantastic film, with such an honesty that you can only see in the world of film.

Or even more likely to have subtitles - as all the movies shown at international festivals are (even if the translation is occasionally poor) a film called Tomorrow Morning.

But its Glogovac's character in Normalni Ljudi that haunted me the most - perhaps its childish but I wish Novkovic would write a follow up as I'd love to see what happened to him - somebody who managed to retain his humanity when the world about him was going to hell.

Novkovic is one of the most talented Serbian filmakers. I advise anybody reading this to watch all of his films, particularly those with Nebojsa Glogovac.
