If we are so weak what has made you fill your trunks when we in 4 days destroyed your beloved regional polizei in the Caucasus ? Why didn’t you bark then ? We openly spitted into your face and you all had to silently wipe it off. Your only problem with Russia is that any awkward move may be your last mistake and the leader of the “democratic” world will stop to exist. And it’s the only thing which stops the Washington hawks cause they are only scoundrels but not suicide committers. So enjoy your life until we are in a good mood !

Don´t understand all the fuzz about Russia from serbs nationalists, here are some comments from some high us officials after russians war with Georgia:

Robert Hunter, the U.S. ambassador to NATO under President Clinton and now a senior adviser at the RAND Corp.

"I don't believe that Russia is a great power again. ... Russia is Saudi Arabia with trees," Hunter said. "In reality, Russia is a second-rate military power and will be for some time."

Although its only a fire bombing airplane. It belongs to the Russian Air Force, so Technically the Russian Air Force is now in Serbia

Nope, belongs to Ministry of Emergency Situation (McHS) run by Yuri Chaika!

Rote,
I think you mean the Be-40 which is the new jet powered water bomber rather than the twin prop Be-2. It is a truly impressive piece of machinery and I'm really looking forward to seeing the pictures of it flying in Serbia. It beats the pats off the CL-415/T's which is eponymous throughout the Mediterranean region (Croatia having bought several in the last few years) but is more expensive. Portable firefighting units are being installed in RuAf's Il-76 transports and Evergreen is offering 747 waterbombers in the US!

In the last few years Russia has been providing them for summer duties to the balkans and elsewhere. Quite a few years ago they were suggested to help with wild fires in California but the US turned down the offer even though Russia said that the US would only need to provide the fuel and feed the crew!

BTW Ataman, it is all your fault. You're new nomenclature is forcing the rest of us to upgrade too! BTW, eSATA spanks USB2.0. U thought of upgrading to USB3.0 yet?

"Russia is asking for equipment from the US so it can send its own to Serbia?"

Next week they promise to conquer most of the fire places and only then Russia will be able to send Be-2 planes. They can pick up about 200 tonns of water every 30 minutes even without landing. The plane just touches the surface of a river or a lake. I guess it will be enough for Serbia.

This summer was an horrible one in Moscow. For 45-50 days we had south-east wind blowing while usually 240 days per year we have a Western one. Sometimes I drived my car by intuition cause no traffic signs were seen through the smoke.

But it's much better now and the tempterature is falling down 2 degrees per day. Many states including Poland to say mothing for Serbia rendered us good help. Today when the peack has passed even the Americans delivered some ammunition. I thank them all !

Station a squadron of MIG's to protect those aircraft along side of 20,000 Chinese Troops as ground forces...that would be my counterbalance albanian expansionism...or uh...US/German colonialism

We welcome the Russian emergency response teams to southern Serbia. This response center should grow and equip itself with the latest emergency response technology. You can never be too prepared. Just think, PRN, when you reclaim Nis for the Illyrians, this Russian center will be on Albanian land. The Russians and Serbs will welcome you with big Slavic bear hugs.
