Hasn't Seselj been there since like 1993 - so over 7 years. Interesting how long the Hague can keep a Serb there before starting a trial. He, unlike the token Muslims and Croats, was unable to return home to prepare his trial - and he went voluntarily.
I rather doubt they'd release him as they don't want Serbs to rally around him. It's political.
Just like Fikret Abdic, a moderate Muslim, has been kept in Croatian jail for many years as the powers that be prefer their puppet Muslims that hate Serbs and cause trouble.

Gladko, Milosevic is one thing, and the Serbs another thing. Don't mix the two. Milo was the worst leader for the Serbs in this critical period of post-ussr. And I agree that Tudjman was not better. With other leaders, it could have been completely different.

Top,
I'm not sure where you are from, but you have some nerve lecturing Serbs about 'dignity'. Who in the 'civilized West' can lecture Serbs on dignity when they don't even know the meaning of the word? Bombardier Bill Clinton, who can't keep it in his pants with interns, and bombs Yugoslavia (a war crime)around the clock for 78 days with no provocation or UN resolution? Madeline Albright, whose family escaped to Serbia during WWII, and she repays us with nothing but hate, lies, propoganda, depleted uranium, and bombs?? How about Hans Dietrich Genscher, who brags that his greatest achievement is breaking up Yugoslavia??
Give me a break. These people don't know what pride, dignity, truth, and morality is, and they have shown it. They could learn about true dignity from the Serbian nation.
Serbia worships their red, white and blue, while these people only worship the green (money).

My guess would be to save face and dodge any reprecussions, they will find him guilty, his sentence will be time served and he will be back.
Tomo stock up on some lavetry essentials if i'm right.

Personnally, I think that Seselj is a danger for the Serbs and the serbian nation because of his ultra-nationalism that tarnished the image of all Serbs by his actions during the civile war. Truth sets free, don't forget.

"Krasić said that no one is working on returning Serbia its dignity."

If you want to work on your dignity, you should clean your society from these alleged war criminals and distance yourself from those persons.

I certainly hope that this article is correct, but I fear that Vojslav Seslj will never see the light of day again because he is a danger to the west.
For those that celebrate this fact, be very afraid because these are democracies doing this act of abomination and not dictatorships.

I have to disagree here. They are dictatorships dressed up as democracies.
