"Through its approach, Serbia is not fanning the flames, but contributing to a peaceful and sober solution through dialogue, in which each side will get something and lose something. Serbia is, obviously, aware of the fact that perhaps two million Kosovo Albanians do not wish to accept Serbia's constitutional order," he said.
"However, the world must be aware of the fact that Kosovo Serbs do not wish to accept the sovereignty of the so-called state of Kosovo," noted Tadić.
--Really and what you gonna do about the Albanians in the Presheva Valley? The world mustn't be made aware of them? Or they don't matter; only the Serbs in N. Mitrovica matter? They should just accept Serbia's constitutional order while the N. Mitrovica Serbs shouldn't accept Kosova's on your direct orders? It is precisely because there are Albanians in the Presheva Valley and Serbs on the other side of the border that there will be no split or exchange of territories. These people will be the buffer zone. They will be the mirror upon how each side will act with its minorities. Smart move from the West. Better do this then deal with their split and then have to deal with the split of Bosnia and then the can of worms it might open in Macedonia. This way those in Presheva valley will be treated like those in N. Mitrovica. I also see you are insinuating partition Mr. Tadic. That is against your own constitution Mr. Tadic. Read it again sometime. You can't fool anyone into believing your insinuations. Just last week the Serb parliament through its resolution enhanced the illegality of the insinuations you are making.
"It is within that framework that a solution should be sought that would secure peace and development. In drafting the resolution, Serbia has honored the procedure agreed with the European Commission, but has hurried to submit it to the UN GA in order to avoid being overtaken by a resolution of Kosovo Albanians," the president was quoted as saying.
"Information was obtained that Kosovo Albanians intend to submit their own resolution to the UN GA and Serbia could not take the risk to be second, because if the first resolution is adopted, the second one does not come up for the vote," Tadić said.
-- This is a lie simply based on the facts below:
1. Kosova is not a member of the UN, hence it cannot pass any resolution in the UN's general assembly.
2. If it was the case that you indeed had the agreement from the EU commission and EU members then how come the EU is passing its own resolution which differs from Serbia's fundamentally?
"Serbia could not allow the possibility of its resolution not being discussed at all," he concluded.
-- Let's see how it will go. September is close.
