CDB interest in nuclear plant project

China Development Bank (CDB) is interested in taking part, together with Serbia, in the project of Belene nuclear power plant project in Bulgaria.

This is ludicrous. Serbia has been at war with Bulgaria on at least 4 occasions; most recently when Bulgaria joined NATO’s attack in 1999. How does an investment in Bulgaria secure Serbia energy needs? When it suites the Bulgarians (or their American and EU masters) they will switch off all power to Serbia.

Serbia needs to invest in Serbia.
