Gee, the US involved in War Games, displaying its killing power to weaker nations. And of course, this display is far from their home. Let's see, how many places around the world is the US involved militarity now? American foreign diplomacy at it best.

"South Korea originally said the U.S. aircraft carrier and other vessels would deploy in the Yellow Sea, where the Cheonan incident occurred. That announcement prompted strong protest from China.

South Korean Navy Rear Admiral Kim Kyung-shik denies pressure from Beijing was the main reason the war game was shifted from the western waters.

The admiral says planners considered the objectives for the exercise and what needed to be emphasized for training, as well as the required air and maritime space. That is why, he says, a decision was made"

Oh please! We are not born yesterday! You guys and the Yankees backed down in the face of Chinese opposition because Beijing considers the Yellow Sea to be her sphere of influence. Offend China and you can forget about further cooperation from her with regards North Korea, including future UNSC resolutions.

Mind you, this embarrassing climb down came just barely a day after the top military Yankee Admiral Mullen pompously declared that they will ignore Beijing and go into the Yellow Sea. See http://www1.voanews.com/english/news/US-Wont-Bow-to-Chinese-Concerns-on-Yellow-Sea-Exercises-98816504.html Needless to say, the Admiral's bosses must have read him the riot act!
