What is the point of this meeting? The regime has spent two years getting a decision from the ICJ and it got it.
Another solemn resolution?
A pointless meeting from a pointless shameless regime which should resign.
This is a comic government operating in a a comic parliament dwelling in a comic country.
I feel sory for genuine Serb patriots but this whole
shower insult the very name Serb.

It's imperative to recognize that Kosovo is the Serbian gestalt. Kosovo is inseparable from the mindset of Serbs and inseparable from Serbia. Gestalt doesn't explain why it is so - only that it is so. It is a deeply ingrained fact far removed from declarations of paper.

No one expected anything earth shattering to come out of the ICJ opinion. Both sides had said that it would not affect the future. The countries that had recognized Kosovo would have continued even if the ruling had gone the other way. Those that support Serbia will continue to do so, on whatever principles they have. The rest of the world will decide where they wish to line up probably more on their alliance to the US or Russia and not so much on Kosovo or Serbia.
But the one good thing to me is that now the big banner of the UDI being illegal as long as 1244 was in force has been taken down, and all the true and needed parts of 1244 are still in effect. There is no need for a new resolution it can continue in force forever.
As far as "status neutral" it will still remain a charade for the UN until a united stance can be found, which is understandable.

Why are the K-albs so desperate in gettin Serbia to recognize them? I thought it didn't matter what Serbia thought or did.

This comes to show that Kosovo is a deep ditch in the heart of Europe and only Serbia can save it.
