Worldwide protests against Iranian stoning

Ooops. I realized I made an error to my earlier post (assuming it gets published). Its 32 countries protesting. Not 32 women sentenced to stoning. Okay, so there's only 1 woman -- why is her male partner apparently not charged?

it takes 2 to tango, right? What about the male partners of these 32 women? The guys appeared not to have been charged at all, right?

Who gets to throw the first stone? Do they re use the stones from a previous stoning? Do they start with smaller stones and then work up to bigger ones? Is there a minumum recquirement for accuracy and force that must be met by a potential stone thrower? Maybe if we knew a bit more about this we would not be so quick to judge it as barbaric. In fact with enough education we can see it as just, humane and logical way to mete out justice.
