"As far as the ICJ is concerned, I do not believe that a different question would have led to a different outcome," Obradović said.

There you have it. In other words, he is saying if Serbia had asked: did Kosovo have a right to secede, the court would have said yes. I don't know why some of you keep parroting the line " the ICJ did not say Kosovo had a right to secede". Your chief legal representative seems to think Kosovo would have won that argument as well had the question been posed.

There were good and bad points to the question and Serbia had to decide what they wanted to gamble. If they had asked about the secession of Kosovo they would have had more chance of winning, but it would have been an all or nothing gamble where they would've lost everything if they'd lost. By asking this question, they could ensure that Kosovo would never beomce a UN member if the ICJ ruled against the declaration, whereas if they lost, there would still be everything to play for, as there is now.

Like I keep saying it. No matter how you formulate your question to the Devil, the Devil will get around it somehow.

Serbia is dealing with the Devil now. We must all remember that. What is Tadic going to accept in exchange for EU? No matter what he asks for EU a.k.a. US (the Devil) will find a way to make Serbia the loser.
So no deals. When are they going to get that? No EU.

BELGRADE -- Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremić say he expect a solution for a future status of Kosovo, acceptable for all, will be reached after the ICJ ruling.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) will deliver its opinion on Serbia's request to determine the legality of the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo's Albanians."
Serbia got the answer to the question they posed, if they wanted more they needed to ask for more, pure and simple.

“I think that we must not be naïve. If the question was posed differently, the case would have lasted longer. The formulation of the court would have been different, but after this decision of the ICJ, taking everything into consideration, I think that we should not be naïve and believe that the outcome would be any different,”

Said it clearly man: there is no legal baisis for keeping Kosova forcedly in Serbia.

They are free to decide for their fate.

This is what you should say and say it clearly don't hide behind "naive" etc
