We all still remember Orthodoxian popes blessing Serbian tanks before going into battle. This is another episode of the outrages behaviour of the SPC, meddling in political affairs. It explains completely why Croats, Bosniaks and Albanians react in such an antagonistic way when it comes to the SPC. This is just another example why.

As long as the SPC doesn't stop meddling in political issues as long as it shouldn't be surprised when it is targeted out of political or ethnical reasons.

Is it the Serbian Orthodox Church is turning to its supposed mission; in this case lining up on the side of the justice? Since, most probably pro-independence advisory opinion is an evitable outcome in this case. Or, that will be another war campaign as it was usually done by an institution supposed to pray for peace among the human kind as it was ordered by God.

This does not sound that good for Serbia... Prayers... Too sad that the church is directly involved in politics...
No wonder we want our orthodox church to be seperated fromthe Serbian orthodox church who is deeply involved in politics

@Milan

sure, as a serb apologist its no surprise you would like to tell us all what albanians are "really" like.

but sadly, you miss the point of the humor... dont you think it probably would have helped for them to have prayed a couple of weeks back BEFORE a decision was made?

might as well pray for the Netherlands to win the cup.

as for critism and your feeble cry of intolerance... im afraid that fails. you are absolutely a valid target for judgment and critism when you try to hide spewing out political dogma behind the guise religion.

Milan, this is not about faces at all or any spin your heart wishes. This is about the stupidity of the human kind. Praying for a court verdict; as if that has ever changed anything. I guess Lindsay Lohan should have thought about that.

What a sad sad statement. Religion is so much involved in Serbian politics.

You're either very ignorant or very twisted.
This has nothing to do with religion mixing in politics. It's a prayer for Serbs of Kosovo whatever the outcome. I suspect you already might know that but only wish to twist anything you possibly can in order to make the Serbs look, bad, silly or confused.
Reading the rest of the Albanian comments, all I can say is that you people have absolutely NO respect for anything outside your own beliefs. No wonder you cannot intergrate into any society and need to steal land in order to be on your own.
Do you not know how you come across?

When the bell ringing starts on all the churches on Thursday at 17:00 CET, after the 5 minute ringing session is over, I shall take part in the moleban, special prayers, to pray for a favorable outcome of the Kosovo status case. May God bless the Serbs of Kosovo. May God bless the churches of Kosovo. May there be peace in Kosovo between the Serbs and Albanians. May there be peace in Kosovo between the Christians and the Muslims.

The majority of comments show the true face of Kosovo Albanians: intolerant to everything that is different from themselves. The bells will be the symbolic wake up call for Kosovo Albanians that their dream and the Kosovo Serbs' nightmare has come to an end. I already have a good bottle of wine in the fridge to celebrate tomorrow's ICJ opinion that will be a slap in the face of those Western powers and their petty allies that even they cannot be above international law. Cheers!

No, it's not a moleban for judges decision.It's moleban for people in Kosovo that have difficult times ahead whatever the final decision will be. This is not stupid, it is not ridiculous, it is not political and it cannot be considered late. The church is simply doing what is in it's domain. People are free to join or not according to their personal believes.
