Kosovo is a holy land to every Serbian in the world. I am disappointed in the decision of the top dogs in the world to hand it over to others.

Bosnia-Herzegovina will remain a single country regardless of what the Croatian and Serbian presidents believe, Bosnian Presidency member Željko Komšić said.

this komsic guy doesnt even know his countries own position regarding kosovo!!! if he is stating his personal dreams thats one thing but this was an official statement..what a shame my bosnian brothers could elect such a poorly informed leader !!!!!!!

Zeljko Komsic was not even voted by the Croats of Bosnia and Herzegovina--he was voted by the Bosnian Muslims. So of course he is acting like their puppet.

I found it necessary to address the comment of Mr.Zeljko Komsic
Quote:"I support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Croatia and Serbia without Kosovo"End of the quote.Mr Komsic is a typical Croat politician whose comment is detrimental to his own cause to keep the Bosnia and Herzegovina together as a single viable State.Mr Komsic RS is listening, they are speaking with one voice,Kosovo is in Serbia for ever.To keep the Bosnia and Herzegovina together, Mr Kosmic in your own image would require Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini to reappear on this Earth to help you out.

If the Court decides in favor of the independence of Kosovo, there is something that smells. You just cannot move in and declare any country independent of the country it has been a part of. The Court will be deemed as crooked as everyone else.

I do not believe there would be any gains either to Serbia or Croatia if Bosnia & Herzegovina disintegrate along the ethnic lines. However,I do not think its possible to integrate these three groups (Serbs,Croats and Muslims)Socially, educationally and economically any time soon. The dialog should be open and publicly debated in its finest details if and how this could be accomplished. It can not be done Dayton Accord Style somewhere in the dark room. From my perspective education would be most difficult element, next would be economic and least would be social.Good luck gentlemen start talking. In no case force shall be used to integrate these three groups in single viable state.

I like this, he's very consistent. Dear Serbs, you need to look at this this way: what benefits will bring to the US, UK and Turkey a big Serbia in the next 50-100 years. Read, the Next 100 Years by Stratfor

Željko Komšić is the other half of the Bosnian/Croat federation and what else do you expect him to say? Let’s look at the facts behind my statement. There is constant fear amongst the Bosniaks that RS will leave and every now and then its “we will go to war if RS tries to break away” and “they can leave but not with our land”, blah , blah.
Croats are fast becoming a minority people in Bosnia and if Komsic does not do as the Bosniaks tell him then his people are finished. Firstly, Croats asked to be taken under the protection of RS then they announced that they would separate from the Bosniaks and sought help from RS – all rejected by RS. Now they are stuck with the Moslems, so what else do you expect Komsic to say?.
“What benefits will bring to the US, UK and Turkey a big Serbia in the next 50-100 years.
The US is BROKE and living off borrowings that officially claim to be a total of 14 trillion dollars so far – that’s 100% of GDP, but in fact when all government loans are taken into account it is actually closer to 22 trillion.
The UK has the same level of debt as Spain and is currently in the process of savagely cutting spending in all areas except “foreign aid” – this means actually propping up Defence and Afghanistan.
That leaves Turkey. This is a THIRD World country that relines heavily on foreign aid – event it’s armed forces are supplied with military equipment gratis. Istanbul is a lovely place but once you leave it precincts then its poverty everywhere.
100 Years by Stratfor , the best line in the book is “The United States will experience a Golden Age in the second half of the century” – NO ONE has come back from the dead and NO empire has return after it has fallen. This is the same stuff espoused by the New York Times about 2 years ago, but no one explains how it is to be done – I imagine a little pixy will come along or perhaps as one of Ronald Regan’s Secretary for Interior believed that they could cut all the timber in the US and when Jesus came beck he would wave a magic wand and all w ill be well again.

well there's a UNSCR guaranteeing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both Serbia and BiH, so a Serbia without Kosovo could lead to a BiH without RS

Really Zeljko? Then why doesn't BiH go ahead and recognize Kosovo? I know why, because half of Bosnia's territory would be gone.. offically.
Republika Srpska is more independent than Kosovo. RS Serbs directly run their own affairs out of Banja Luka. Kosovo is still ruled by the UN and more recently the EU. It is not truly independent.

What about:
Bosnia without RS?
Spain without Catalonia?
China without Tibet?
