It is not hard to guess, aremenia has invaded 1 over 3 of azerbaijanian territory, so no need to thank that country. But it is not weird how losers associate with losers.

Now without being in the UN you can't even join FIFA or compete in Eurovision. You can compete in Miss Universe though.
(Peggy, 14 July 2010 22:57)

Dont knock the Miss Universe Peggy :))

For all us red blooded males, I give you Ms. Keshtjella Pepshi, Miss Kosovo delegate for the Miss Universe pagent.

Azerbaijan only supports Serbia because of it's own problem of the ethnic Armenian Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. It isn't being a loyal trust worthy friend to Serbia, it is doing this for it's own interests. Same applies to Spain, Cyprus, China etc.
(Ian, UK, 13 July 2010 16:41)

Then how do you explain Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Ghana and South Africa's support for Serbia (to name but a few)? Border or land disputes affecting these states have long been solved within the context of international treaties and international law ot to mention that these states have no social or cultural links to Serbia.

I'll enlighten you, they can see the KLA-NATO project for what it really is, a recipe for disaster and anarchy.

Since when did joining the UN become the fundamental norm of statehood?

There are corporations in the world that are more powerful and influential than some of the members of the UN.

But they belong to people who live in countries which are in the UN. Again, everything comes back to UN.

All these comments here miss the point. NagorniKarabakh, is a province that Azerbaijan claims, but which they have not had control over since 1990 er so. Borders were drawn up bad, so the Armenians in NagorniKarabakh never recognized this new independent state, and instead made their own. Azerbaijan supports Serbia only because Serbia does not support NagorniKarabakh. It's all mutual interest, they don't care a thing about us or about Kosovo. It's like that old saying, scratch my back and I'll scratch yours.

Sure, ban most of citizens from EU and US and open the doors to most of Middle East, 90% of Africa's and billions of Asians to come to Serbia whenever they like.
(miri, 13 July 2010 15:15)

You did not read correctly. Nowhere did I say about banning or visa regime. Just the opposite: - abolish visa regime TO SWAY.

----

To the others: visas never solve the problem. As for threat of "millions of Africans": no one needs visa to Kosovo and the life there is much better than in, say, Somalia.

Somehow I never seen millions of Somalian refugees in Kosovo. Hence abolishing visas whatsoever won't increase the number of refugees.

Kosovo is an excellent experiment proving, visas are rubbish. OR can anyone explain it?

No one needs a visa to stay in Vushtrri, even forever.
Do you have problems with Egyptians, Nigerians, Pakistanis, Chinese in Vushtrri? No?

Mu point is: everyone who wants to move somewhere illegally will do it regardless of visas.
On the other hand: how or why on Earth would you trust some idiot working in a consulate to determine, who can have visa and who cannot?

Don't you believe in ebony and ivory, or just ivory? How very enlightened of you. Not that asia is an economic powerhouse that has consistently high growth rates and is so important that the US is directing its most sophisticated weapons there.

As for Africa, it is developing in leaps and bounds now that the HIPC (Highly Indebted Poor Countries) have had their debt wiped out or severely cut when partially linked to good governance. It is so popular with investors that China is the primary investor, closely followed by Japan and India. Of course the west still see it as an 'risky investment' and haven't touched it - so lots of nice words but no action and ultimately their loss.

Still, it must be great to look down ones nose at those knowing that the west's terms of dominance against them is over.

My highest regard to the just and moral people of Azerbaijan. Standing up to the pressures of so-called world powers is not easy to do. Nations like Azerbaijan are a shinning light in this present day of corruption and bribery by the self-serving and ruthless Western countries.
