Romania will recognize Kosovo or face bombing by NATO and the Kosova army.

Only if you were in charge of NATO.
Since when do countries get bombed because they don't do as the Albanians tell them to?

Amazing how many people fell for this ruse.
The question is which Serbian poster is it that did it?

Do you ever tire of blaming Serbs for everything?
Why can't you accept that you have some very primitive people in your community?

My concern is the certain countries like Serbia, Romania or Spain REALISTICALLY do not give a damn about international law but purely their own interest.

Romania's stance in that matter is a footnote. Kosovo's freedom is a fact which can easily verified when visiting its capital. Moreover, it is several times more important that the economic super powers, such as Germany, do so.

But even the Romanian stance is understandable. With the Russian policy of obstruction in Moldova, Bucuresti must be very careful. The Romanians should simply bury once and for all the Southstream project which aims not only to increase wealth of some Russian autocrats but also the attempt to divide the Balkans. I'm sure that the Romanians will make a wise and Pro-European decision in that matter. So send the this project to hell.

"Romania would not recognize Kosovo’s unilaterally proclaimed independence, despite the fact that the European Parliament (EP) has called on all EU member-states to do so.

That shows clearly how Romania cares about the EU. Realistically what Romania cares is how much can it grab from the EU aid "IN THE NAME OF EUROPEAN UNION". You can not expect too much from a failed country which accidentaly entered the EU.

"Romania is waiting for the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and would stick to its position, Baconschi said."

What a nonsense! Why Romania is waiting....when they already have made up their mind like Serbia. My concern is the certain countries like Serbia, Romania or Spain REALISTICALLY do not give a damn about international law but purely their own interest.

By not recognising kosovo as an independent country it will defeat the purpose of the war on Serbia which was build upon lies and propaganda and it will send a
clear message to US neocons they cannot break up countries to suit their own specific political agendas.

I think the ICJ ruling will be another attempt by NATO countries to cover up their attrocities against Serbia and avoid being prosecuted themselves for war crimes.

Albani,

That was one of the more amusing comments I've seen on here in quite a while! You wayyy overestimate the importance of Albanians to the West my friend. I live in the US. Believe me, no one cares.

Kosova Army?? If it wasn't for NATO, I believe the Delije and the Grobari of Belgrade could smash that "Kosova Army" without even involving Vojska Srbije or the MUP.

Good for them! The EP's 'resolution' just comes across as attempted bullying and undemocratic tactics.

The EU states have decided their positions. Do the EP believe that by ganging together against them, they are likely to change their minds?

If anything it will make them more determined to stand their ground.

Bad move by the EP and it makes them look very bad and desperate in the eyes of anyone who follows these events.
