"Do you call the following of yours substansive?? It is polemics to me." (Joe)

"You did that with me for a while too in a childish way hoping that I will simply disappear from the site. You gravely miscalculated." (Joe)

-- Is it time for us to spat again? I mean it's been a few weeks/months since the last time you flailed around with me, and Ataman and szemi seem to have been occupying your polemics of late. Truth be told, with comments like what you just wrote, you're getting boring and repetitive. I mean there's only so much cantankerousness and defensive narcissism will take you in the absence of something substantive to offer. I'm not really interested if you stay or go on this site and you flatter yourself if you think I was hoping you’d disappear. If you want to talk like the educated man you constantly claim you are, I'm all ears and more than happy to throw down the ideas. If all you’re going to do is disappoint with more of the same it’s not worth my time.

Mr. Tadic you should have not allowed EULEX to be deployed in Kosovo province in the first place. Now they have "cheated" the Serbian government in believing that the mission was status neutral. EULEX, KFOR + KPS are the occupying force now "serving" the interest of the separatists in pristina.
(PRO-SERBIA, 7 July 2010 14:22)
=======================
Very true and I have stated my opposition to EULEX from the very beginning.
Now if I felt that EULEX was a Trojan horse from the beginning I fail to see how Tadic could not. Obviously he knew it and still allowe it because he was told to allow it.
Now he can say that he tried his very best but Kosovo is gone anyway.

We urgently need action and not words from this man. Actions speak louder than words and so far all we've had is words. For years we endured harassment from the Albanians, even murder and still only words of protest. Words are not going to keep the Serbs safe nor are they going to stop Albanians from expanding. Time to buddy up to our allies and show our enemies we don't believe THEIR words any more.

Both Tadic and B92 had a bad day because of this miscalculated move at the UN.
Whenever a bad day like this happens I always notice it:my most innocent and moderate posting get censured like today. I don't mind it at all because for me it is an indication that the K-Albanians had a good day. Also my stocks went up today nicely. What a nice day it was!!

Having just viewed the session of the UNSC specially called meeting at the request of President Boris Tadic of Serbia, and witnessing the abrupt exit of Mr Tadic prior to the adjournment of the meeting, one can only conclude that Serbia has no respect for the UN, the UNSC nor for that matter, international law.
Hopefully, those who have not formed an opinion on the Independence of Kosovo will now take note that Serbia's interests are self serving and that they could never be trusted to abide by international standards and laws in accordance to the people of Kosovo.
Hopefully, should he ever request an audience before the council again his conduct will be noted.

Serbia must leave Kosova alone and move on.
What a waste of money for Serbia to invest in north Mitrovica.
Even 100 years from today they'll never be able to grab any inch of Kosova.
It was Serbia who asked for an emergency session at UNSC and at the end of the show president Tadic was upset!.

The problem is that (a) UNMIK/EULEX are there by agreement with Serbia which could be revoked; and (b) the EU and US keep interfering and making things even worse.
(kate, 7 July 2010 15:44)
Curious as to how this revocation is to occur. Do you think that one day Serbia can say everyone out and "anyone" will comply?
The only way to end UNMIK/EULEX is through a UNSC mandate and you will need US, UK, and France to agree-good luck with that!

EA

"The Serbian president said that he hoped that "we will ultimately all end up in the EU", but stressed that, before that could happen, a compromise needed to be found for Kosovo."

Big misuse of the word "compromise" by Serbian president. What it means in Serbian political dictionary "Serbia's sovereignity over Kosovo" which is absolutely not accepatble or open to negotiations to Kosovo Albanians.

Kate and Ron,

You suggest that EULEX and other international institutions are in Kosovo with Serbia's "approval" and Serbia can revoke its consent. Well what is stopping Serbia "revoke its consent"? Go Serbia for it! But Serbia knows very well that it HAS NOT POWER over Kosovo/a. LET'S BE REAL FOR ONLY ONCE!

Unless those who think Hysterical Skender achieved some sort of "victory" over Tadic at the UNSC yesterday base their evaluations on the fact that

a) he was allowed to speak
b) he didn't run screaming out of the room
c) he didn't lunge at Tadic
d) he used complete sentences

I fail to see what this man achieved that would warrant such accolades from certain people. Then again, knowing who posted the comments it's not a surprise. All the article reported on him was some empty statements and something ridiculous about a piece of territory outside their control as being an "internal" matter despite the need for international forces to give them what they can't/won't achieve alone. He's quite the simpleton if you ask me, but if it makes the Albanian internet diaspora jump for joy that he was able to attend, then so be it. As far as I'm concerned, his presence was little more than a way of placating Pristina's need to feel important.

Tadic`s deafening silence regarding the attempted murder of the Serbs who co-operated with Pristina speaks volumes. At least, it has been clearly stated in this UNSC session, making Serbia stance quite weak. Why EULEX has been denied and threatened when investigating this issue? Serbs are clearly losing not only this fight but also their nerves.

There are indeed some working on destabalizing Kosovo, but that carries the Serbian hand writing. Just as in the failed handgrenade throwing towards a Kosovo building, the attempted murder brings the (pre-) Milosevic time back. Some clearly cannot learn from history and are, therefore, doomed to repeat it.

Clear Albanian victory. Good work Hyseni, Kerambon and Co.

Kosovo Albanian office should not be open in Mitrovica till such time a solution to Kosovo and in particular Mitrovica problem is found.

I have no idea where you get your info, Olf, but the overwhelming majority of Serbs want no Pristina Albanian prescence in N. Mitrovica. Why do you post such nonsense, who are you trying to fool?

winston

pre 13 godina

Tadic is correct, until a compromise is found between the EU/US regarding Kosovo, there will be not peace there. Trying to impose an Albanian presence in the north is plainly a request for violence. The serbs living there will never accept any kind of Albanian rule, as the Albanians have for decades fought against Serbian authority. I say a compromise between Serbia and the EU/US, because pristina is only allowed to do what Eulex approves, let's be honest.

Daniel

Kosovo will never be allowed to join the EU or UN unless the Albanian authorities compromise with Belgrade. Until then, it will just be another hole in the wall.

Olf

pre 13 godina

Tadic and Hyseni(not president Sejdiu) seating at the same table, this is a compromise.

To be honest, if I was a Serbs living in KS, I would be appaled of the support given by President Tadic in front of the SC, eventhough that is the reality.

Communities office in Mitro is working and is being used by all, Albanians, Bosniacs, Roma, Serbs for civil registration purposes. Opening if this office was opposed by mere few hundreds of Serb agents and radicals manipulated by Belgrade, not by the ordinary Serbs. Ordianry Serbs are tired of politics and of being used as tool for Serbian interests.

Tadic vs. Hyseni= Argentina vs. Germany (results: 4 zipp for Germany)

Well, in the end Germany loses. Serbia defeated German and Spain puts the last nail in the coffin. Bye bye Germany.

"Tadic vs. Hyseni= Argentina vs. Germany (results: 4 zipp for Germany)" (Kosova-USA)

-- A creative analogy but you might have forgot:

Serbia vs. Germany 1 zipp for Serbia.

Oh and Germany lost to Spain.

"During the Security Council debate, Tadić stressed that the Council still endorsed a position opposed to Kosovo's unilateral declaration of independence and that Priština needed to accept that reality".

Kidding? Did I miss it? When did the SC oppose it?

"Why doesn't B92 report that the Serb team left demonstratively during the session after they realized this is turning against them?"
James

Both Tadic and B92 had a bad day because of this miscalculated move at the UN.
Whenever a bad day like this happens I always notice it:my most innocent and moderate posting get censured like today. I don't mind it at all because for me it is an indication that the K-Albanians had a good day. Also my stocks went up today nicely. What a nice day it was!!

Well you didn't change a bit in the last 2 years mister teacher of a community college. When everything fails you like to slander people. You did that with me for a while too in a childish way hoping that I will simply disappear from the site. You gravely miscalculated.

"something substansive to offer"
Mike

Do you call the following of yours substansive?? It is polemics to me.

"a) he was allowed to speak
b) he didn't run screaming out of the room
c) he didn't lunge at Tadic
d) he used complete sentences

"Do you call the following of yours substansive?? It is polemics to me." (Joe)

-- Were that the only thing I wrote, then yes it could be interpreted as polemic. Since it follows and precedes two additional paragraphs of what I feel to be explanatory substance, I consider it to be the satirically humorous interlude that questions the exaggerated praises given to a rather underwhelming individual.
