I would like for us to sit down and stop all of this and come to agreement, but what can you do when we aren't allowed to talk? The dirty battle will continue until then I suppose.

-- Nobody in the Serb government can talk. The Constitution limits what they can talk about. So knowing fully well the most they can talk about nobody is foolish enough to even bother talking about something that its been over a decade now that everyone knows, won't ever ever happen. Change the constitution and you may have a point. Someone might eventually take you seriously.

No, it's not obvious to anyone, Ben, so speak for yourself. Maybe your Albanians are the ones that are worried about the ICJ opinion? In any case, Kosovo is going nowhere without the approval from Belgrade - and that is a fact, not an opinion.

Ben you are partly right but the bit I don't agree with is that its necessarily dark Serbian forces in the background.

As you know Albanians are quite capable of carrying out acts themselves. You only have to look at what happened in 2004.

Thats not to say I know the facts, I do not. But the undisputable fact at the moment is that Serbia is using the situation to its diplomatic advantage.

Both sides as you know have exaggerated, encouraged / practiced non-moral policies to get the upper hand in the past.

The KPS does not know if a Serbian journalist's car was hit directly or by a stray bullet - these Kosovo police clowns must be kidding

The Keystone Cops will pick up some local guy, haul his ass down to the station and it will go like this:

Officer: We found a gun in the area where the Serb journalist was fired upon with your finger prints and matching ballistics. What do you have to say for yourself young man?

Albanian: err, Officer I was shooting at some polar bears and my finger slipped.

Officer: Ok, well next time be careful and watch out for the Klingons. Here is your AK-47 back.

Albanian: Thanks.

It is obvious to anynoe that Serbia is in panics before the most likely not as they wish rule of ICJ.

Thus Serbia attempts to change the facts on the ground and is:

punishing the Serbs that feel Kosovar and are working for Kosova (attampted assasination of Kosova-Serb MP, today the journalist.. and more to come)

and

Attempts to portray the situation in Kosova as instable (doctor an incident in Serb ihabitated area in north and blame Albanians- old story at least 60 years)

with this wants to achieve her political objective as saying:

OK ICJ was not really as I wish but not either 100% against. Moreover the "facts" in the ground say that there is need for new negotiations as the situation is instable and we have to find a durable "solution" (read Kosova needs to meet my demands).

Add to that that Serbia most probably as allways is backed 100% by Russia the preassure will be very strong for new negotiations. And probably wil have the support of couple of countries in EU in this.

Bogdanovic gived already the hint about the direction of negotiatians that Serbs wants...

The KPS does not know if a Serbian journalist's car was hit directly or by a stray bullet - these Kosovo police clowns must be kidding. Are they saying it's common for anything and anyone to be hit by a stray bullet in Pristina, because that is common there? The reality is that, anything and anyone Serbian is like a shooting gallery for Kosovo Albanians, and the local police just look the other way. What crime against serbs have these clowns solved? None. Albanians will not rest as long as there is one Serb, or any minority in Kosovo, and the local clown cops look the other way. The real comedy is, that Pristina expects Serbs in N. Mitrovica to allow their presence there - stay the hell out. The Pristina liars say one thing to the Internationals, but do another thing in reality - which is to purge Kosovo of anyone not Albanian.
