Hello Einstein, lots of my neighbours are Serbs and I like them alot. In fact I like Serbs so much, I drink with them in the local taverna at weekends. I guess there is no such thing as multiethnic cohabiting, peace, tolerance or mutual respect in the Concise Oxford Albanian-Gibberish, Gibberish Albanian fascist dictionary.

Love & kisses from Beograd:)

Latest news from Kosova:
North Mitrovica, Monday, July 5, 2010 around 7PM local time a serb journalist from Mitrovica working for Belgrade agency Tanug has been attacked by firearm. Lucky for him only the car was damaged from bullets. Police have already identified the suspect and he is a Serb.

"mitrovica is a multi-ethnic city, and needs to stay or rather return to being one. i find this concept of ethnic apartheid utterly repugnant, and opposed to all human rights values." (roberto)

-- Considering the northern part is the "multiethnic" part of the city, while the southern part is almost exclusively inhabited by your colleagues (which might I add the first thing one sees when traveling across the bridge from north to south is a desecrated Serbian cemetery – courtesy I can only guess from some of your less intelligent colleagues), I'd say you should write what you wrote on New Kosova Report instead of here on B92.

"Now, Mike I am surprised you haven't solved this last case already." (johny)

-- Aww johny, are you still angry some of us here don't take your side seriously? Considering you’re interested in what people like myself and Peter have to write (much less think) on what we know about what goes on in the happiest place on Earth, this latest incident could be anything ranging from a deranged Albanian that can't tell a Belgrade-collaborator from a loyal Kosovar, to a deranged Serb that can't stand someone pulling a paycheck from Pristina's coffers to the ghost of Milosheviq himself coming back from the grave to haunt every good little Kosovar (or is it Kosovan?) of Serbian ethnicity.

And deliberately so, just so roberto can remind us once again how unbelievably horrible the blgd regime is while turning a blind eye to the political, social and institutional mismanagement of his beloved colleagues.

Any leads on your end? What’s the Albanian blogosphere coming up with? Judging from the gems of your compatriots here, I can imagine the creativity. Perhaps we can organize an investigative tag-team and get to the bottom of this. Maybe if we cooperate good enough and solve the case quick enough there might even be time to rescue Timmy from the well too.

>Belgrade is stating that this too was a terrorist attack, and Kosovo Minister Goran Bogdanović said that the goal of the incident was to "change the reality in northern Kosovo".

However, Miletić’s party stated that the attack was a result of the fact that it is one of only a few that actually cooperate with the Kosovo Albanians.

“We suspect that the job Miletić does is part of the cause. Neither the party nor myself wish to speculate about that, because it is very sensitive when everyone is shifting the blame, but the fact is that the man was wounded. We are aware of the fact that we are not very popular, but our motivation is not to be popular, but to be part of the solution for our community,” said Independent Liberal Party President Slobodan Petrović.>

OK, is anyone here seriously trying to claim that an "albanian terrorist" actually shot a member of the liberal party??

the blgd regime is really pushing a willing suspension of disbelief here. translation: they are out-of-control liars, that will either continue to stir up terror or make maximum use of it -- or both -- in order to push their "post" milosevic agenda to the world. it is sick and it will backfire.

and in case no one else has noticed, each and every such
incident (and the blgd regime's reaction to it) stirs up the nastiest hornet's nest of vile, first against "the albanians" and then, against "the serbs". how helpful is that? (not)

it all plays into the hate game, the "ancient animosities," need for partition, bla bla...

i was a bit disappointed that no one responded to my previous suggestion for the possibility of a Brcko-type solution -- that is, a kind of international governance of Mitrovica (N and S), within the borders and political structures of Kosova. with an intl governor, someone like raffi gregorian, who would ensure the full rights of members of ALL comunities, right of return for all, democratic representative structures, the instituting of law (and thus order), the securing of real borders... yes, it is complex and perhaps problematic. but it's a kind of great compromise that both main groups could, theoretically, live with.

mitrovica is a multi-ethnic city, and needs to stay or rather return to being one. i find this concept of ethnic apartheid utterly repugnant, and opposed to all human rights values.

i really would appreciate comments on this "radical" idea.

thank you.

In an interview given earlier concerning the Friday hand grenade attack against a group of protesting Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica, "Bogdanović said that "after the terrorist attack it is clear to everyone that Priština (Kosovo Albanians) will do anything in order to attain their objective".

"There is no dilemma any more and it is crystal clear that there will be no peace in Kosovo and Metohija until Priština's separatist ambitions are restrained. Everybody supporting such an attitude of Priština is an accomplice of ethnic Albanian terrorists and separatists," Bogdanović said in an interview for Vesti, a daily in Serbian that is published in Frankfurt, Germany."

-- Next time this guy talks about a compromise I would suggest he starts with what he said here. Actually he should start with that everytime he mentions the word compromise. See how far that gets him.

Now, Mike I am surprised you haven't solved this last case already. Seeing that you solved the other one in 5 minutes. I am surprised Tadic hasn't solved this case already since he solved the other one in 5 minutes. I also am surprised Peter Suduyka hasn't solved this case since he solved the other one in 5 minutes. The Serb camp sure has some bright people. Especially since it seems you guys can solve cases in 5 minutes. They say the first 24 hours of the investigation are crucial. Forget that; with you guys the first 30 seconds are crucial and bam you have solved the case. All you need is a title on B92 and due to your genius minds you can immediately find the guilty party. Its a shame that none of you, Mike, Peter Suduyka, Tadic, Bogdanovic and the countless other Serbs are wasting your investigative talents in such a way. This world does indeed need psychic investigators such as yourselves. Why waste so much money in this time of financial crisis on expensive investigation when we could simply have a bunch of you guys reading B92 titles and immediately identify the perpetrators.

"Miletić lives in the northern part of Kosovska Mitrovica. He is a member of the Kosovo assembly in Priština." (B92)

-- That pretty brave of him. Still, for someone that basically represents 3 people, an assassination attempt by Serb extremists seems over the top. How much political weight did this man really pull?

"Rest assure that no-one want to have to do with the serbs. look the ex-YU nations ...no-one likes serbs!" (PRN)

-- Considering Rompuy is in Belgrade today, the majority of opinion seems to think otherwise. But if you really think all Serbs are this barbaric, why do you want them in your "country"? Best to cut them loose and let them ruin their own lives instead of contaminate Europe's Youngest Democracy, right?

My president will have to spell it in big, big letters in New York or retire. People he let in Kosovo are preparing pogrom of Serbs this time in north. He'll have to name those people by name and last name. Albanians now shooting their collaborators to blame Serbs we guess? We all know they want to cause violence to justify pogrom. Everyone knows this for months. Tadic must stop them or throw them out because he let them in.

I wonder if Tadic is going to mention Petar Miletić at the UN emergency meeting on Tuesday. If so, I wonder who is he going to blame. It is a shame that Serbian government would go as far as killing it's own doctor and trying to assassinate a Kosovo MP just to try to gain some points in the international scene. Too bad they know this game.

First the agents of the Serb government, who are trying to ferment instability on the eve of the ICJ ruling, threw a grenade amidst their own. Now they shoot at someone who participates in the Kosovo Institutions. This type of behavior is indicative of the Black Hand mentality which permeates Serbia.

i was a bit disappointed that no one responded to my previous suggestion for the possibility of a Brcko-type solution -- that is, a kind of international governance of Mitrovica (N and S), within the borders and political structures of Kosova. with an intl governor, someone like raffi gregorian, who would ensure the full rights of members of ALL comunities, right of return for all, democratic representative structures, the instituting of law (and thus order), the securing of real borders... yes, it is complex and perhaps problematic. but it's a kind of great compromise that both main groups could, theoretically, live with.

mitrovica is a multi-ethnic city, and needs to stay or rather return to being one. i find this concept of ethnic apartheid utterly repugnant, and opposed to all human rights values.

i really would appreciate comments on this "radical" idea.

thank you.
