"Note to Patrick, you need to watch less Family Guy and more Simpsons, its rotting your sense of humour!"

"Queerly beloved, we are gathered here today.........."

Yes Zoran I once witness a guy in a black suit and sunglasses with a radio device.

I noted that everytime he picked it up Novak did a double fault.

Note to Patrick, you need to watch less Family Guy and more Simpsons, its rotting your sense of humour!

Although one might argue that those who watch the former do so because they need an obvious joke and a canned audience to know when a joke has been told :)

"To anybody that watches Djokovic its clear that he suffers mentally more than he used to. It means that watching our tennis players is quite torturous.

You're right. It's not easy watching Nole play. When he wears his emotions on his sleave, he actually empowers his opponent. He'd do better to adopt a poker face like sampras or even federer. Surprised that he is still so emotionally unstable on court. So much talent, yet so many serious flaws. I think his generation was negatively affected (scarred) by the Nato bombings so that they all to some degree suffer from a low level of post traumatic stress disorder. People who suffer PSTD, have a VERY low tolerance for stress. Explains why Nole, Ana and Jelena tend to fail under pressure.

"That's because there is a conspiracy against our sports men and women. They are being poisoned by Western agents! :)
(Zoran, 29 June 2010 16:50)"

Really? I do not see any evidence of that. What is the poison? The desire to make money through matches and endorsements? Is that limited to the west? If it is, should it be? I am happy to see the players' success. So are others it would seem. I watched Djokovic play Federer in the finals of the US Open and I would say at least half of the stadium was cheering on Djokovic, and Federer was the favorite!

However, its true to anybody that our players seem to have more mental issues than the average.

As stated it's pure sour grapes. But watching the match yesterday you could not help to notice that both Hewitt and a portion of his followers have the class and manners of a warthog. What do you expect from a nation formed by convicts.

What an idiot, he lost! Accept the loss as a gentleman and move on. That's why he is ranked 26th and Djokovic is ranked #3. No class! Congrats Novak!

Yes its sour grapes from Hewitt. Even an under par Novak Djokovic can beat Hewitt comfortably, as he showed.

However, its true to anybody that our players seem to have more mental issues than the average.

Ana Ivanovic's game has imploded only due to whats going on in her head. Jelena Jankovic has a history of injuries that appear on court from nowhere. And its clear that Djokovic has both physical and psychological issues that need to be dealt with. To anybody that watches Djokovic its clear that he suffers mentally more than he used to.

It means that watching our tennis players is quite torturous.

Hewitt also made comments after the match regarding Đoković’s health problems, stating that “he’s always got something.”

Well done Đoković. At least Serbia defeated Australia here.
