Lenard - I appreciate your comment.

Let me remind everyone that TWICE as many people died in this ONE concentration camp than ALL deaths from ALL causes in the entire war in Croatia/Krajina in the 90s.

RIP to anyone who died unjustly.

The reason Serbs rose up in revolt in 1990/91 was because we feared this was going to happen again. I was there (young, but old enough to understand).

Croatia's government was welcoming back NDH exiles and money, making dark statements towards Serbs, firing Serbs from their jobs etc. You'd think if the intention was NOT to repeat the past the Croat government would bend over backwards to reassure its Serbs nothing would happen.

It was totally reasonable for Krajina Serbs to respond as they did given the circumstances.

Anyway, I am glad Croatia is at least making some gestures of rememberance and regret now. This is VITAL if Serbs are to believe that life is possible for them in Croatia.

Let's hope more rights are restored to Serbs and Krajina's autonomy is recognized by Croatia.

And for God's sake stop naming streets after NDH figures like Budak (and in former Serb towns at that). If this is not a calculated move to keep Serbs out - then what is??

It's the least our people deserve.

I do not get it how such satanical evil cruel people can be among us. That even the priest bless them before they go out to do their horrendous despicable murderous criminality what a grievous shame. Pro 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.
