"Obama also said there would be no change in policy."

Neither will there be any change in the inevitable for you -- Vietnam 2. I thought you had more common sense than Bush. I stand corrected.

sometimes it takes "cave dwellers" to free the world of the corrupt ambitions of the so called civilized nations. Were it not for the peasants of vietnam how far would the hegemony of the West have gone?

Bless the peasants and the cave dwellers!

The war in afghanistan is doomed to failure-just as the war in Iraq was before the USA pulled out thier wallets and bribed the Suni into relative passivity. The empire knows it cannot defeat the afghans with arms , so soon they will pull out the big bills and bribe them-and they will call it victory. But until that happens , every life lost, on both sides, will be for futilities sake. They die for the vanity of the west and for the enrichement of powerful americans and thier western european vassals.

history will be a harsh judge, and the lense of time sees the truth.

If I got beaten and humiliated by a bunch of cave dwellers in everything I set out to do, I wouldn't miss one either.
