Witness “didn’t see attack on Frenchman”

The problem is that he is known to the hooligans and that his place of work is known to them.

If they haven't already threatened him, it is still a grave risk to testify against them. Better to rely on a witness who doesn't work closeby, or somebody whose identity is protected.

If this french man were a serb and the place not serbia, but rather, kosovo-the western press would have labled the murder a "revenge attack".

everytime an innocent serb is murdered in kosovo the western media uses the label "revenge" but alas in occupied serbia the foreign controlled media and western influenced legal system have to make a showing of thier "EURO" civility. The problem is that there is no real civility in the west just like there is no free press in occupied serbia-but that will surely change.

If he fears for his safety then naturally he won't be willing to talk.
Any attempt to force him is placing this man in danger.
On the other hand, if I got hit with a bat on the head, I think I would have trouble remembering what happened as well.

It's not easy to scan around the room and recall everything in great detail when you are going through a traumatic time and things are happening fast, not to mention a hard hit on the head at the end of it.
