Irony is obviously not your strong side. Life is too short to take everything too serious.
It is realy a shame that I now will not pass my B92 commentators exam since I was "caught" plagiarising.
And btw my nickname is stolen from the 1987 movie "Angel Heart" directed by Alan Parker. I simply can't help it.

To each his/her own. You claim now to being ironic. I call it a feeble attempt to salvage the situation of being caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

As for irony, well ironically that's my point all along! After going through so much trouble for Tadic & Co., the Yankess now found out that Pristina can be unwilling to play good-boy-do-as-you-are-told-by-your-uncle. Hopefully, irony is your Uncle Sam's "strong point". But don't bet on it!

@Mike
It is indeed a great scene. Actually I think it is Nicholson's best ever, but I think I don't have to tell you that. Next time I will mark it more clearly as a quotation, although I thought it was obvious. Anyway I really enjoyed your comment...Good to see that inspite of possibly differing opinions one still has a common base for other more pleasant topics.

"A beautiful comment louiscyphre. Too bad you lifted it word for word from "A Few Good Men". A great scene no doubt, but I would have liked it if you started a bit earlier with the walls being guarded by men with guns part.

"I was hoping to deal with people who are literate, obviously you ain't.

We use words like honor, code, loyalty...we use these words as the backbone to a life spent defending something. You use 'em as a punchline.
I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then questions the manner in which I provide it! I'd rather you just said thank you and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon and stand a post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you're entitled to!
(louiscyphre, 19 June 2010 18:16) "

What you have written in your long tirade has absolutely NOTHING to do with the subject of this B92 report at all. I am at least literate enough to know what's relevant and what's not. So before you go round calling somebody illiterate, you should look into the mirror first!

Your "honor, code, loyalty" led YOU to provide the "very freedom" us all?????? And we we are supposed to thank you???? Are you God Almighty or what???? Talk about grandiose delusions!

The real question is why you ordered the Code Red Col. Jessup? What did Santiago ever do to you?

louis-whatever,

What part of the law don't YOU understand? eulex arrested the suspect because the kps (pristina) refused. Now, a eulex judge released him. The us will want to know from BOTH eulex and pristina why the suspect is not in custody. Is that too complicated for you?

And you call this independence? This is not a nation by any definition. Actually, it's shameful, but yet, I also find it comforting that albanians accept subservient role.

Serb forces will be headed back where they belong very shortly, I would like for everyone to acknowledge this reality, b/c the government in Belgrade themselves are getting prepared for this, let me assure you.
(trudsaam, 19 June 2010 14:59)

I can only hope that this is true and that even the West will wake up and see that their support of these Albanian criminals must cease.

He was arrested by Eulex and released by a Eulex judge, I doubt that Uncle Sam has any issue with Pristina.
The article is a bit confusing, he was arrested on a warrant from the US attorneys' office but he was convicted in Serbia and sentenced to 8 years.
Seems like Serbia is the one that would be fuming
