"In the defense ministers final statement, they hailed "measured progress" in the nine-year war while noting that "significant challenges remain, and success is not yet assured."

Measured progress? You gotta be kidding! You can't even measure the extent of innocent civilians killed by your aerial bombing. Because there's just too many of these "collateral damage".

Well 22 NATO dead in just one week and the security has improved in Afghanistan. Does this mean that in teh past weeks and months the NATO death toll was higher????
